Hmmn. Well, I'm American with Finnish/Scandinavian descent, which is very common where I live, so not often. However, my last name sounds Hispanic, so some people (usually on the phone या while I'm traveling) assume I am.
Yes. Multiple people including strangers, teachers, friends, doctors and even the freakin' bakery cashier lady have asked if I was half asian. My mum even told me that when she would push me in the pram when I was a baby out in public, she'd be stopped द्वारा people asking if she married an asian husband because I be lookin' mixed af lmao.
I'm a tiny 1/16 asian, apparently it shows more-so.
