Just be yourself. आप shouldn't have to put on a दिखाना to get someone to like you. That would be like अभिनय in a movie. आप try to so hard to act your best in the movie, but आप can't make your audience like you. Same thing with getting someone to like you. I know this might sound crazy now, but try saying hi and trying to open up the door for him to see आप are friendly. Making yourself a friend to him is already a huge step.
