How to convince my mum to allow me to put some blonde streaks and have bangs cut?


I have thick, brunette hair. Have been growing it naturally for last few years, and I'm getting so bored of my natural style.

My mother, despite being a self employed hair dresser, refuses to let me to me have what I want to be done to my hair.
I understand that she claims to like my hair anyway and worries about me ruining it, but I am 17, how can I politely make her realise that is my choice?

My mum told me I could never go blonde, well I'm 19, I can do whatever I want, now I'm full blonde.
