बिना सोचे समझे सवाल

So... Just to make sure... (Help me please! It will just take a second)

An essay needs to have a personal opinion/point of view... right?

For example: "I am against assisted suicide"

But can it also randomly be: "I think Elvis Presley is still alive", right?

या can it also not have any point of view?

Expository = Pick a topic and write an essay on it. Ex.) An essay on Egypt would explain its culture, location, etc.

Narrative = If I remember right it's an essay about आप या an event in your life.

Persuasive = That's the one in which आप need to pick a side या stand on a neutral ground and explain why/why not आप are for/against या stand neutral on your topic. This is the most common type of essay, at least in my school.

Plus I think essays should have at least one point of view. I never heard an essay being without one to be honest.
