A steampunk land. It is 1880 and the world has lighter-than-air airships, and inventors with unique personalities on every street. This story begins in England, where it all began. While people live obliviously to the pollution they are producing on this time, a technological advancement happens 200 years in the future. The first time traveling devices have been produced. Unfortunately, they've found that the device can only bring the user 200 years in the past from where they started, and back. A handful of devices have been created, and most of them have gone missing without a trace, with only a couple still in the lab it originated in.

Of course, since technology was already well produced in the late 1800's, 200 years in the future has functioning, human-like robots, and everything else you can think  of. A somewhat Science Fiction World.

You can be a time traveler who stole a device from the lab, a time traveler who was testing the device, a scientist from the lab, or a normal person in either time.
