The year is 2114. The government has started up a "lottery" in which every person in the United States between the ages of 5 - 20 is put in. The number of people that are drawn is determined by how many people are needed. These people will be used for testing, with the variety of tests explained below.

Your character has been drawn for this, but don't worry, the test subjects are let out on when they turn 30. But then again, most test subjects die before they actually get to 30, and some have to stay in quarantine. So, will you escape, stay in the lab, or die?


Experiments.
DNA
These people have been injected with other creatures DNA to test the results. Whether or not you already had this personality, your personality seems to change when mixed with DNA. Just because of a violent personality, your charcter can still be a nice person.

Wolf: stronger and faster than most humans, but not superhuman fast or strong. Bad temper. Rather solve problems with violence. Occasionally become hectic and attack everyone and everything. Does not remember anything after.

Snow Leopard: stealthy and sneaky. like to lure, seduce and lie to get what they want. good at hiding and climbing, and are very graceful.

Sheep: a quiet and shy personality, and like to get out of harms way. not risk takers. don't feel the cold, and tend to have long hair, though not all have this trait. 

Fish: tend to have a friendly personality, and get lonely easily, only comfortable if someone else is there, tend to be fast swimmers and are able to hold their breath for very long, the longest recorded time for this species was 2hrs 47mins. get very thirsty, and weak if kept from water for more than three hours.

Endurance
These people are used as test subjects to see how much the human can endure.

Physical: These people have to endure tests like the cutting off of skin, the affects of acid or bombs etc. Anything that will give the charcter physical pain without killing them, though this section tends to have the most deaths.

Mental: These people have to endure tests like hearing/seeing the suffering of a loved one, placing a chip in the brain to make it hear voices or see hallucinations etc. Anything that will give the character mental pain. The characters in this section often go insane.

Limbs And Organs
In this section, body parts and organs are destroyed, added or replaced to see how they get along without them.

Removing: Most commonly removed: feet, hands, ears, arms, toes, though other organs and parts are also removed.

Adding: The most common body parts added are arms, (extra arm(s)) heads, (extra head(s)) and facial features, such as nose, eyes, mouth and ears.

Replacing: Most common body parts/organs : legs, arms, ears, lungs, mouth and heart. (replaced with things such as an arm or horse leg, or clock or sheep heart)

Other
These tests are things that don't have a category.

Injection: These subjects have different fluids, solids and gases injected into them. Some of them, such as an illness or poison, are to see how the body can fight the infection.

Enhanced Senses: Thses people have had tests to enhance the senses; Smell, Taste, Sight, Touch and Sound. A fluid or brain specimen from a different person is injected into the blood stream and it enhances specific sense. WARNING: Some subjects may go insane from sudden change in ability.
