Korra does not exist in this RP. Status as the Avatar has been given to HumphryOmega, since they replied asking to be Avatar first.

70 years after Avatar: The Last Airbender took place, starts this story in Republic city, a "metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology", including cars, motorcycles, and flying air ships (used by police). Republic City, meant to be a harmony driven society, is now a crime ridden 'new york' put simply. The police, however, are little to no help, arriving late and barely ever catching the criminals. After Avatar: The Last Airbender ended, Toph (the avatar's earth bending teacher in the first gen) traveled extensively to teach Metal Bending, a type of bending first discovered by her and is now used by the police.

Within the depths of Republic City, is the Anti-benders. They oppose anything bending. They especially utalize chi-blocking (where they hit certain parts of the body to freeze the person, or to block their ability to bend their elements). They call themselves officially the "Equalists" and a couple tend to preach in the streets to convert people to their point of view, saying that the benders belittle non-benders.

Here's my own character

Name: Rine (surname unknown)
Age: 15
Element: Water, but doesn't use it unless she has to
Element skill: good, but not perfected
Born: Republic City
Occupation: thief
Personality: can't hold a grudge, gets lost in thought, quiet, introverted, a tendency to forgive deviencies, quick learner
Pet: none
Appearance: navy blue short shorts under a light blue skirt, white tank top under dark blue wrap that goes around her torso and is layer like bandages. Black sandals. Long chestnut brown hair in a ponytail with strands that fall in front of her face. Sea green eyes.
Bio: Rine grew up with her brother, never knowing who her parents were or what happened to them. If she were to ask her brother, he would give her the cold shoulder. She had been on the bridge where her and her brother would usually meet before they left to their hideout, but she waited until the next morning and then throughout the day. She never saw her brother after that and now lives by herself and provides for herself.
