Bio: Born in Russia, Kalina lived with her mother and father, a piano teacher and a psychology teacher, until her family moved to Germany when she was 7. Kalina soon became interested in psychology and detective work when she was in free time at school on the computer. She had come across an article about L. She idolized him until L stopped doing anything after the Kira case had drifted off into nothing (when she was about 10). She then began studying abroad in Japan when she was 15, where she found the death note she never uses.
Appearance: Clothing: red, unzipped hoodie, white loosefitting tanktop under a black and white striped crop top. Wears a black skirt that reaches above her knees, and worn out black and red sneakers. Also, black shorts under her skirt.

Personality: has a strong sense of justice and can't stand to see others get hurt or suffer. is serious when on a case but can be pretty random other times.
Intelligence lvl: above average
Bio: yuichi has just joined the police force not to long ago so he is pretty low in the ranks at the moment but he hopes to move up higher soon. Yuichi likes to draw and will sometimes randomly start doodling on a pad of paper when trying to think. He dreams to one day be a great detective in the police force and solve really tough cases.
Appearance: he has spiked black hair and blue eyes. when not working he wears a dark sweater with a cotton shirt under it that peeks out from under the sweater at the collar, cuffs, and bottom. when working he wears the normal uniform.

Kalina put a microwave dinner into her microwave and leaned against her counter. On her table sat the 'death note', like it always did. "after two years of having it, maybe I should at least try it so I can stop thinking about it..." she mumbled to herself as she went to a cup full of pens and pencils. "but who to write...I can't completely rule out the possibility of it being real, so I need someone who deserves to die..." she flipped her small television on and took her dinner out of the microwave. "who to write..." she mumbled again.

Yuichi just got home from work and plopped down on the couch in his small appartment. "wow, I can't believe how crazy things are on the streets" he sighed, then turned on his television to see what was happening on the news and began doodling in a small sketch pad as he began to think. "if only there was a way to stop all these crimes..."

Kalina stopped on the news channel. "BREAKING NEWS. A hostage situation has begun at the Yokoroshi Bank. The man was reported to have came into the bank and shouting that he had a gun and for everyone to get down. The man has been identified as 'Nideki Akihiko'. Here is a picture of him" a lady said while sitting behind a desk. A picture of the robber appeared behind her. The station then changed to a reporter at the scene outside with 3 cops behind him. The bank had been surrounded by policemen. "just in, the robber has just made a phone call to the police, saying unless he gets a safe way out, he would kill two of the hostages. 4 minutes have past but they have concurred that it has been a bluff an--" the reporter was cut off by a loud gunshot from the inside of the bank, and soon another after it. Visible blood splattered across the window.

"hm, I guess this is where I find out if this book is real..." Kalina felt a shiver run up her spine as she thought about the two hostages. She wrote "Nideki Akihiko" into the book, not specifying the cause of death. Akihiko looked like a fairly young man, making a heart attack seem like an unlikely natural death.

Petal walked through the street concern filling her mind.
When she wrote that guys name in the note book...then he died...
No it could not have been her! Not in a million years.
Petal then knocked on the door of her flat which she shared with her flatmate Kalina.
"Hey Kal could you let me in please? I forgot the key its been a rough day" Petal called.

Startled, Kalina threw the book beneath her bed and ran to the door to open it. "hey Petal." she said as she opened the door, letting her flatmate in.

Yuichi couldn't believe what he just saw. "I know it's possible for anyone to get a heart attack ,but still it seems strange that someone of his age would get one." he then grabbed the remote and turned off the tv. "I think I'm just going crazy thinking that it could possibly be related to the Kira case that happened many years" he then stretched out, "whatever...there isn't enough to tell at this point" he slowly began to drift off to sleep.

Kalina, without another word, ran back to her room and locked the door. She looked under her bed and took the DeathNote out and looked through it. 'he died...' she thought as she flipped through the pages. 'and I did it... It was... Doing a service for society...' she continued her thoughts. 'I haven't done much for other people... But now I have...and I kind of feel excited' she jumped onto her chair infront of her desk and leaned back with a grin on her face. "heart attack... Having to know the name and face...Kira" she jumped up and put her DeathNote in her book bag, along with her laptop. "Petal I'm going out for a while!" she yelled as she ran out, ignoring any possible objections.

Ethnicity: Japanese American. Her parents were born in Japan but came to America before Akemi was born. She speaks both Japanese and English fluently.

Personality: Blunt, curious, paranoid, eccentric, stubborn, and observant. She posses an odd fixation with plumbs and rabbits. She tends to think of herself as being much younger then she really is; she’s kind of trapped in time. She also enjoys loud music and rainy days. She hates self-righteous people, those who believe her brother was guilty, and anyone who lacks a sense of adventure.
Intelligence lvl: Medium (Not the brightest but still pretty smart)
Bio: Akemi grew up in America with her parents and older brother, Reiji. As children she and Reiji were always close and after their mother’s untimely death, Reiji took on the role of care giver for Akemi while their father was away at work. When Reiji decided to attend university in Japan, he was falsely accused of murdering a fellow student. Akemi was the only one who believed that her brother was not responsible for the murder for there was no real evidence but he was none the less convicted and sentenced to life behind bars. Several months after his sentencing he mysteriously died of a heart attack. Having seen the internet forums that spoke of Kira, she believed that Kira was the one who killed her brother. She does not believe that Kira is dead. In her mind he is still out there and she often finds herself torn as to what she shall do when she finds him; should she simply have him arrested or should she kill him herself?
Appearance: She has shoulder length black hair, brown eyes, and a pale complexion. She is 5 foot 4 and thin. She tends to wear skirts a lot and those colorful knee-high socks (Like I said she’s stuck in her youth). Often her clothes will have some depiction of a rabbit on them and most if not all of her wardrobe in blue, black, or green

Akemi approached the cash register of a small grocery store. She placed a small plastic bag filled with plumbs onto the counter. The cashier, Yuka raised an eye brow at Akemi and said "Don't you ever eat anything other then plumbs?"
"I'd either be dead or sickly if I didn't." spoke Akemi as she removed 1210(Yen) from her purse, she glanced up at the TV which hung above the register. She saw the Yokoroshi Bank, a large number of people were being escorted out and so was someone who was dead and wrapped up on a stretcher.
"Could you turn that up?"
Yuka turned up the volume and when Akemi heard that a criminal had just died of a heart attack, she mumbled the words “Kira is back.”
Yuka heard her and rolled her eyes, “Why is it that every time someone dies from a heart attack, you assume that it’s Kira?”
“Because most of the time it is.” She picked up the plastic bag
“If I remember correctly weren’t there two Kiras?”
Akemi nodded “It was a copy cat.”
“Then maybe that’s all this one is too.”
Akemi smiled “Do you actually believe what I’m saying for once or are you just screwing with me?”
Akemi turned to leave and Yuka asked her “Where are you headed to?”
“Where do you think?” questioned Akemi, “Yokoroshi Bank, of course. If Kira’s back then I’ll be the one to find him.”

Kalina ran down the steps and finally slowed down when she got out of her building. She was out to find somewhere with wifi, knowing she couldn't use her own at her loft in case Petal checked it and questioned her. She walked down a couple blocks and saw a tv in a grocery store that she could see through the glass. She watched the dead body being pulled out of the bank and grinned, maniacally to say the least. She continued watching.
