Mike walks down the hall and sees the Kris and Millie, not sure how to approach them. "Hey"

(Just saying but there is only 1 guy and 1 girl from each district allowed. I'm a guy from district 2 already.)

"Oh, hey. I'm from 12." ((I live in WV and am LITERALLY in 12))

"Coal miners right?" he said, flicking dust off of his shoulders.

"Yeah, lots of deaths around the Seam...."

Kris nodded, but stayed quiet.

"Sounds terrifying" he said without much concern. He looked around to make sure no one was around.

Kris didn't care what the others did. He didn't ant to get to know them. It would make.it harder to fight and kill them.

"It's stupid how they fancy us up" Mike sighed "Pretty little dresses and these stupid interviews." He slammed his fist in a nearby wall. "They pretty us up for us to kill each other !"

"Just how it is." Kris said.

"I know! How can they think that we are smiling for them? I'm smiling for my friend Jackson back home. I'm telling him that I'll try my hardest."

"I don't have friends back home." he sighed." My parents raised me for this moment. To kill without hesitations."

"Did you want that?"

"Of course not !" he almost yelled. " In a few short hours I'll be playing a bloody game for my life!" he clenched his fist."And I just don't the heart to kill any of you."

"Me either. I hate that stupid Snow." Sighs when Haymitch teeters by, drunk. Slides down the bright capitol wall and curls into a ball when she meets the floor.

"Hush, you never know who's listening" he said flashing a quick glance at the nearby peacekeeper."Even though we are condemned to death doesn't mean our families has to face the same faith."

Sniffles, sitting up. "Sorry. I'm kind of scared."

Micheal smiled softly before sinking back into sadness. "I'm going to bed.Might as well enjoy our last few hours while we can"

I sit on my bed picking at my nails nervously. This had become a habit for me I'd do it whenever I was nervous and right now I was definately nervous.

Micheal walked to his room and laid in his bed staring at the ceiling,thoughts racing through his mind. "I have nothing to live for. Tears fell from his eyes."My family doesn't even love me."

Millie starts to walk back to her room, her head spinning. All her life, she had worked her hardest around the Seam, working to get pennies, and such. Micheal had been forced into training for a death show, and Athena had no family. Then there was that other tribute, 2 was it?, that was obviously trying not to get attached to them. Panem was stupid. How could they do this to kids? Millie was just 15, and was most likely going to die. 'Well,' she thought, 'If I die, I want one of them to win.'
