Lance is asleep in algebra class.
"Lance! Lance, Open the door!" says a familiar voice.
He slowly awakens, wiping a bit of drool from the side of his mouth, and notices the classroom is empty. There's someone banging on the door, out of control.
"Lance! Are you still alive? Open the door!" says the girl again, banging on the door with all her might.
He gets up to open the door and it's Katie- Panting and her shirt covered in blood. His eyes widen as he becomes a bit sick.
"Katie, what did you do?!" He asks taking a big step back.
"The real question is why are you asleep in school while all of this is going on?! These people are insane... Completely hostile! We have to get out of here!" She said tugging at his arm.

Pearl runs past the school. "they must be close." she keeps running but trips over the schools front step

Lance grabbed Katie's shoulders.
"Calm down! Hostile how?"
"Dude! They're eating each other! We could be next! Come on!" Katie begged.
"We'll be fine. I'm sure it's some sick joke." Lance said laughing a bit.
Katie crossed over to the window of the classroom, dragging Lance along with her. She grabbed his chin, forcing him to look out of the window. All he saw were people trudging across town covered in blood, and buildings on fire.
"AH! What's going on?!"
"Lance, I told you. We have get out of here before the government declares martial law and the military blows up this place!" Katie yelled.

Pearl runs into the school and slowly limps down the hall

"If we want to make it out of here alive, we need weapons..." Lance said.
Katie was sitting on a desk, her head resting on her palm. "Yeah, but what is a paperweight and hand sanitizer gonna do?" She said, bluntly.
"Well, we still haven't looked in the supply closet yet." Lance said.
Katie's eyes darted at him as he walked to the teacher's supply closet. Lance opened the supply closet slowly, then his eyes suddenly widened.
~The hall~
The hall is silent, and was covered in blood. Katie covered her mouth with the tie from her uniform to keep her from vomiting. She clenched a yard stick in her hand tightly. Lance was ahead of her, slowly creeping towards the other hand of the hall.
"This is crude..." Katie muffled through her tie.
"Shh, stay quiet. You'll never know what's around the corner..."

Pearl walks around the courner, slowly half limping. "hello?" she calls out

Lance slowly creeps around the corner, getting a small glimpse at pearl. He lets out a sigh of relief.
"Who is it?" Katie whispers.
"She's fine, I don't think she's another hostile." He whispers back.
She nods and they both slowly step out from the corner.

Pearl falls over and tries to get up. "stupid foot."

Lance runs over to help you up.
"Are you okay? You're not one of them, are you?"

Pearl: "I just fell off tree. I will b fine. Im not one of them." she shakes her head

"Fell off a tree?" He says, glancing down at her foot.
They suddenly hear an explosion coming from the nurse's office and Katie quickly takes a step back.
"W-What was that?!" She asks shakily.

Pearl: "uhhh yah." she hears the noise and takes out a scythe. "we better check to see what that was."

~Nurse's office~
"Damn!" Says a woman taking goggles. (She's the nurse's crazy, British assistant)
"Oh god, what is that smell?!" Katie says covering her mouth and nose with her hands.
"Oh, hello! ^-^" Evangeline says taking off her gloves, that are dripping green goo.
"Gross! What is that on your gloves?!" Lance says.
"Well, I'm trying to see if I can make a cure for whatever the hell is lurking out there." Evangeline says.
"What are you crazy?" Lance snaps.
"A little..."

Pearl: crosses her arms completely ignoring the smell. "I can tell." she puts the scythe away

Evangeline giggles.
"Look, do you know if there's anyone else here alive?" Lance asks her.
"Well... Honestly, I'm surprise you kiddies are still here. I was hiding in here for about Erm... 1... 2... approximately 8 hours?"
"Wow, you were asleep that long?" Katie says to Lance.
Lance only shrugs.
"We need to find a way out of here." Katie says.
"Ooh, Ooh! I have these..." Evangeline says, playfully jingling car keys around.
Lance takes the keys.
"I don't trust you with those."

Pearl laughs. She takes out her scythe and cleans it, it is coated in blood

Pearl: "shadow, get ioff me." she screams
Shadow gets up. "sorry Pearl."

"I also have these too." Evangeline says, kicking her supply closet door.
A sniper rifle falls out.
"Ta da!" She says, giggling.
"GAHH! What is that?!" Katie and Lance say quickly backing into the door.
"Well... A friend of mine gave it to me as gift. Isn't it gorgeous?" Evangeline asks, warmly smiling.
"Gorgeous?" Lance asks.
"Oh wait... I've seen one of those before!" Katie says.
"Not you too!" Lance exclaims to Katie.

Pearl glares a Shadow. Shadow sighs and leaves

Shadow looks at the weapon. "yes it is." she puts her scythe away

Katie notices Shadow leaving and grabs their hand.
"No way! You can't just walk out there by yourself! It's too dangerous." Katie says with a serious expression.

Shadow: "I will just go back to the shadow world."
she shrugs.

Katie blankly stares at her. "._. What?"

Shadow: "its where shadows and evil are held back, she is the queen there" she points at Pearl
Pearl: "shadow. why did u tell them?!" she says angerly

Lance looks weirded out.
"Okay now I don't even think Evangeline gets any of this."
Evangeline nods.
"Wait, what?"

Pearl: "I am a queen of a world that is niothing but shadows. I come to this world to get into the light. The shadow world is like the underworld in a way."

"Well, if you're telling the truth, then you might as well go back. Because this world is being blown to crap." Lance said.

Shadow vanishes.
Pearl:"Well, im here to help in anyway possable."

Evangeline pushes everyone out of the way and stands in front of Pearl, staring at her in awe.
"Ooh! *-* So you're like a fairy godmother?!" Evangeline says.
Lance mumbles to Pearl.
"Don't worry, as dumb as she may seem, she's actually some sort of weird, mad genius."
"You know, you're a terrible whisperer! >.<'" Evangeline barks.
Katie turns around and doesn't see Shadow.
"ACK! What the-?!" Katie says her eyes wide.

Pearl: nodds. "I can do magic." she says to Evangeline

"No way!" Evangeline says a bit too loud.
Zombies suddenly starts banging on the door of the nurse's office*
"Uh... We've got trouble!" Katie yells, panicking.

Pearl takes out her scythe. "ready to fight?" she yells

Pearl: "you ready to beat some zombies?" She throws them a sword and a gun.

Lance catches gun as Katie catches swords. Katie nods.
"Bring it!" Lance yells kicking open the door open.

Pearl starts off by slicing the heads off zombies in the front.

Katie holds out a sword slowly backing up as a zombie a approaches her.
"Watch your back, Katie!" Evangeline yells as she jabs a tube tube in the zombie's eye.
"Damn!" Lance yells. The zombie gets up again. "What the hell?"
"It's not dead?!" Evangeline asks in shock.
Katie jabs the swords though the zombie's ear, piercing its brain. "Aim for the brain!"
"Alright!" Lance replies, shooting a zombie in the head.

Pearls eyes turn purple and she suddenly becomes a huge hound. She lunges at the zombies spewing magma

Mike is seen running on the road, zombies in every direction. "Damn, to think i was going to have a good week." He pulls out a snub nosed shotgun and fires it four times into a large crowd of zombies. This clears a path for him. As he continues and reloads, he hears gun shots from the school. He head in that direction, blasting a zombies head of along the way.

The hound runs outisde notices mike. As a zombie neers Pearl picks it up and smashes it. The hound becomes human again

Evangeline disappears. Lance and Katie are trying to fend off as many zombies as possible. Katie Shoves her sword into a zombie's mouth with a helpless, the blade thinking off the back of its skull. Her stomach turns as he rips the blade out angrily. Lance turns around, shooting zombies that are close by. As he is starting to rapidly pulling the trigger out of fright, he starts to not feel like himself. He feels hollow, and lifeless... He doesn't even care about life much any more.
Beep, Beep!
Evangeline pulled up in front of them with that same sweet smile.
"Hellooo ^-^"

Pearl becomes normal and stares at Evangeline

Evangeline smiles at her.
"Why could morning sunshine. Looking snazzy today!" She gets out of the car.
"Angie, what are you doing?" Katie asked backing up with her sword.
Lance only kept shooting, his shots getting more accurate by the minute.
"Just take a step back. I need to clear the path so I can drive, silly! Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me..." She sang. Evangeline giggled as she started digging into a duffle bag. Lance and Katie took a step back, eyeing Evangeline and afraid of what she might do next. She stood directly in front of a mob of zombies. She grinned at them at she hid something behind her back.
"What is she doing?" Lance asked. "She gonna get herself killed." He no longer had the surprised or pressured feeling when he talked.
"I don't know... but what's that behind her back?" Katie asked squinting at what she holding. She still couldn't make it out.
"Alrighty, here I go!" Evangeline yelled out. She threw a crate of chemicals out into the street. Nothing happened.
"Just for that?!" Katie asked.
"Patience, deary." Evangeline replied.
She threw a match it the crate and skipped off. Katie and Lance looked completely dumbfounded.
"Duck if you wanna live." She whispered as she crossed past the two.
"What?" Katie said.
"Get down!" Lance yelled pushing Katie down on the ground and jumping down afterward..
"ACK!" Katie said as she hit the ground. Lance wrapped his arm around her neck.
The crate exploded. Soot, flames and the debris of zombies came down like rain. Katie lifted her head up, shocked.
"O-O Holy crap..." She said, shakily.
"All done." Evangeline said laughing menacingly. "But you all might want to get in the car before more come. You know, they're all attracted to sound, and this made quite a ruckus."

Pearl stares in shock. "uhhh, alright." she walks over to the car and hops inside 0_0

Lance takes the driver's seat, still not trusting Evangeline. Katie get in the back with Evangeline, heart pounding.

Pearl sits on the other side of Evangeline. Cat ears grow from Pearls head. "sorry, that happens sometimes." she syas to Evangeline. she points up at the cat ears

Evangeline's eyes sparkled.
"Ooh! They're beautiful! How do you do that?"

Pearl: "its a power I have, I can transform into animals, like so." she shrinks into a cat. She meows and walks over to Evangeline
