All the starters in Sinnoh are perfectly balanced. They're all loved the most

I like all three Kanto ones. I don't care for Chikorita in Johto. Not a fan of mudkip in Hoenn. I only like piplup in Sinnoh. I don't dislike any of the Unova starters, but i dont like the evelutions of them.

this just proves no one like hoenn....

Overall I like the Isshu starters the best followed closely by the Houen and Sino Starter Pokemon.

it's the only region that i like the starters all at once. i like Torchic in Hoenn, Cyndaquil in Johto, Turtwig and Piplup in Sinnoh, Oshawott and Snivy in Unova.
