Remember back in 1998 when Pokemon came out in the US? Well, probably 18 years ago when we first saw Pokemon outside of Japan in 1998, Pokemon is dominating the US market in 1999 (a year after Pokemon released in the US and 3 years after Pokemon first started in Japan in 1996).

Nowadays, America's children's programming these days is dominated by America repeats like Star Wars and America shows like The Lion Guard. That's all America TV programming does these days. Repeats like Power Rangers and America shows like Teen Titans Go. What happened? Just look at the things being offered: consumer products version of TV shows like Power Rangers, SpongeBob SquarePants, new America shows like The Lion Guard, America repeats like Marvel shows, gender marketing commercials, CGI shows like Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, long running America shows like South Park. The list is endless. Where's Pokemon, the rich characters for children to nurture and develop and identify with?

Also, America's video game market these days is donimated by repeats like licensed products version of games and mainstream running gags like Call Of Duty. Just look at the things being offered: Call Of Duty, licensed games like movie games, Angry Birds, Nintendo platform-less multi-platform games like Asassin's Creed, Activision like Skylanders, mobile games like Candy Crush. The list is endless. Where are the Pokemon games like Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? Where are the main series Pokemon games, the rich characters for children to nurture and develop and identify with?

Pokemon is one of the biggest selling franchise of all time and yet Pokemon is only a fad in the US and misrepresent the fact Pokemon sold 275 million units worldwide? What was America thinking? Why America hates Pokemon and stick with America repeats and changes like Star Wars and SpongeBob SquarePants? Why can't kids play Pokemon? Kids only plays repeats like Call Of Duty and never stops.

Pokemon, to me, is huge and it will continue to be a big name icon. Too bad America hates generations like Milton Bradley and stick with repeats like Marvel and changes like technologies. That's all America does these days. Stupid dominate. How will Pokemon ever be popular in the US again?
