It should be less than 10, in my opinion. There are so many characters on the दिखाना that are younger than 10, but they're quite mature for their age, mainly Bonnie and Max. There was also an episode of the best Wishes series "Clash of the Connoisseurs" when Mr. Hatiley needed Cilan's assistance in picking out his daughter, Marigold's first Pokémon, and गेंदे का फूल, मैरीगोल्ड looked like she was only 5. However despite Marigold's young age she already has a पोकेमोन of her own, which is a Foongus she would always play with on her swingset. Now, Bonnie is only 6, and she also already has a पोकेमोन of her own which is Dedenne (yes I know that Clemont was the one who caught Dedenne, but he caught it so that Bonnie could take care of it and raise it, and also Dedenne is always seen being carried around in Bonnie's पर्स and is never inside it's Pokéball, so that's why I believe Dedenne belongs to Bonnie). Bonnie does a very good job of taking care of Dedenne and is always doing whatever she can to make sure it's happy and healthy. During the course of the Advanced Generation series Max befriended several Pokémon, and even used Ash's Corphish in a पोकेमोन battle, although Corphish didn't listen to Max. Max has also shown extensive knowledge about Pokémon, stating lots of facts, whether helpful in a situation, या just बिना सोचे समझे facts that he thinks of off the चोटी, शीर्ष of his head. Max is only 7 and yet he already knows so much about so many different पोकेमोन and has been shown to do a great job taking care of या helping a पोकेमोन in need.

geocen I understand your point of view but I think the age requeriment is 10 because a kid under that age can't handle a gym battle or a pokemon league and least an elite four battle; kids under 10 just take care of their pokemons. That's my opinion

diehardpokemon its funny when you think about it letting ten year olds be on their own fighting dangerous creatures but i agree i think kids younger then 10 should be able to became pokemon trainers if they are at a advanced stage where they know how to care and battle with them.

QueenofthePika I would agree- but only if they're mature enough. In some episodes, Bonnie has shown that she's afraid of battles.

TAIKAMODO I think once you've shown the level of maturity a trainer needs,you should be allowed,regardless of your age.Although,maybe it's because of the amount of traveling that could harm a younger child,or even mental stress and being too young to do certain things alone that ten is an agee requirement.

Pokegal4life I see the points you're making as well and they're both good points. And with Bonnie being scared of a battle, I don't think that's really the case and she's only scared for Ash because she doesn't want him to lose, like how she worried about him both times he went up against Viola. Usually, though, Bonnie is really excited when she sees Ash battle especially when he's doing a great job and has the advantage.

Along with the 15th movie, Kyremu and The Sacred Swordsman- Keldeo, new forms of Kyremu have been reviled from Junichi Masuda. These forms will be in the new Pokemon games that we have all been waiting for: Pokemon White and Black 2. They are known as Black Kyremu and White Kyremu. Annoying thing in pokemon that happened to me... D;

So I was playing HeartGold. I had just got it that दिन and was playing it. I was training a chikorita, having fun. It was already level 10 and I was going to keep going train to get ahead. So I was playing it and all of the sudden I get summoned into a battle with a metapod, a shiny ligit red one! I was like "YESSSSS!" then I was like "Crap! Crap! Crap!" I had no poke balls! :(... So I had to suffer battling it for the experience and want to know what made it worse?! MY BROTHER LAUGHED AT ME!!! I wanted to slap him as hard as I did to make him cry when I was seven and he was ten... Well I walked out of his room and then I was like "yeah! Well आप didn't have a shiny beedrill on your leaf green game!" but it still sucked! I hated when that happened! I never ever want it to happen again.. I mean how cool would it be to say I had a shiny beedrill and butterfree! Even if they were from two different pokemon games... But still! Have आप had an experience like that?!

Many times I have heard people ask me
"If आप coud have any one pokemon in real life, which one would it be?"
Of course, many people immediatly choose their favorites, such as eevee, charizard, lugia, pikachu, and so on.
I प्यार all pokemon- although my eevee farm and my newer vulpix farm and dragon type farm point otherwise.
My answer for this सवाल is never Umbrion या Eevee, Vulpix, Ninetails, या even Dragonite. My answer is Ditto.
The funney thing is that द्वारा saying Ditto, आप are kind of saying all pokemon.
Mew would also work, because Mew can also learn the हटाइए transform.
