I've found that in the last two years of school it's not so cliquey, everyone just talks to each other and wanders from group to group. Of course you have your main group of friends but if you wanna hang out with other people for a while it's not a big deal.

And I agree with Neeki, since 10th grade its pretty much groups, but you go from one to another and have friends in many of them.

At school we were considered as The Freaks, I was the over-the-top christian with minor depression and a laptop and who APPARENTLY did some really sick stuff. One of my friends was a semi-chav who like Kenny from South Park knew everything about "the birds and the bees" and would get very hyper. Another of my friends was a home-work-aholic who had the innocence of someone 4 years younger than him. The fourth person in our group of friends was a cars, video games and atheism enthusiast who would talk extremley loud and often accidently say offensive stuff.

We're a bunch of neeks, really... I'm probably the least nerdy, but yeah. We have no social life. W00t.

Uh...nice people. Even if they like to beat their friends up (but not very hard); or have hair down to her waist, really weird accesories and never actually looks up from her book; or formed a society called the "Bunnies of happiness" and lives in a permanent fantasy world...they won't mind me telling you this btw...I hope.

depends on the time of year actually. when it's field hockey season i'm hanging out with jocks a lot. but every other season i just hang with my normal friends. people sometimes call us weird or smart.

I had a few groups I stuck with in school - rednecks (believe it. lol), rockers, goths, nerds, but mainly the ones who were too far in between to really be classified.

Kind of the preppy group but not as mean.
