yes!!!I saw the movie and they didnt put the fight beween Ares and Percy!!!!Annabeth is like 23 years old,brunnet and so ugly!!Not to mention Luke!I mean they butchered the poor guys character!!!:(

Totally. Percy Jackson 1 was possibly the worst adaptation of a book ever. The entire Nashville scene wasn't in the book, they went to St. Louis. The movie made most of the quest about finding the pearls, but the pearls were a gift from Poseidon! There was no mention of Ares, they made Luke the bad guy already.
I do like what they did with the Grover character, even if its not true to the book. The movie needed some comic relief and Grover is a good place to get it. I hate how they made Persephone this "sex" goddess. If Persephone hadn't been there, the entire quest would've ended with the हीरोस being stuck in the अंडरवर्ल्ड forever.
I really hope this movie didn't have the approval of Riordan, because if he approved this script, he basically backstabed all of the पुस्तकें fans.
what also makes no since is in greek mythology persophone wasn't there in the summer which means she shouldn't have been there she sould have been up with her mother demeter!!
I watched it today! I liked it! Grover was FUNNY!!! Alothough in the book he was a bit goofy and cuddly and stuff. But OMG!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOO MAD!!! THEY TOOK OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY THE BOLT WAS STOLEN!!!!!! THEY DIDN'T MENTION KRONOS!!! NOT EVE ONCE!!! THEY MADE LUKE THE VILLAN OF EVERYTHING!!!! AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CONSULTED THE ORACLE, AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE SCENE WHEN PERCY FIGHTS CLARISSE AND THE TRIDENT HOVERS ABOVE HIS HEAD!!!! THEY TOOK OUT CLARISSE!!! And Percy only gets a sheild in the 2nd book! AND ARES WAS THE ONE THAT PUT THE BOLT IN PERCY'S BACKPACK!!!!!!!! OMG, I thought this movie was gonna be a hit, but it's just gonna be another failed movie! And I dnt think they're even gonna make Sea Of Monsters cuz in the end I think Luke dies.

THEY KILLED THE BOOK! what the heck! i went and saw it today w/ my bf and we both agreed that they totally butchered the movie! nothing was the same! How could Rick let us down like this?!?!
But I watched it this weekend, and I thought it was a fairly good adaption of a book. Logan Lerman portrayed Percy Jackson well. And I like the change in Grover's character. Annabeth was the most problem I had, I can look past she's not blonde and that she's 23, because she looks younger but she is so monotone, anything she कहा seemed weird, she wasn't convincing.
The movie was good but it was so different from the book!!! I thought it was good but just different than the book. I wish they had the Aries fight and the मकड़ी part with Annabeth and Percy
Absolutely not. Well, I haven't read the book yet, but my sister who did says it is pretty much like the book. They left out a few things probably so the movie wouldn't be eternal.
I've read the पुस्तकें and the movie is different. I got so mad that medusa wasn't even black. That's what the book said. This movie stuff and पुस्तकें never match. Their total opposites.

ok, i could seriously care less if the characters dont exactly match thier विवरण (though its nice when they do!), but when they leave out major characters and event, thats when i get mad! especially cuz i still loved the movie, but now its gonna be hard for them to do the rest of the series!

heck yeah. They missed alot of things. very important things. I waas depressed after i saw it. i was like," daddy! they guy who directed the movie should stick to harry potter movies!" since he was the one who created the harry pottter movies.But i like the humor. Cool beans.
