To the oblivion of the humans, Nigel; Private's mother; and Private waddle sleathly at their feet. Private has never seen so many humans in his life, let alone in the same place. He seems helplessly intrigued in them and their bizzare nature. As each one takes a step, he admires how giant-like their feet seem. There are different designs on their feet. That's silly Private thinks. They seem to be able to take them off.
His mother finds him wide-eyed. "Those are called shoes, Private."
"Sho-es?" Private repeats.
"Yes, the people wear them to protect their feet." She teaches the little penguin. He sits down, and holds up his left foot. "Where's my shoes?" Private asks.
"We don't need them." She says.
"Really?" Private ponders.
"Yes, our feet are different. Ours are webbed."
"Oh… what does that mean?"
"It helps us swim."
"Okay!" Private exclaims, and waddles up अगला to his uncle.
"Be careful!" His mother calls after him.
Careful he is, but he can't say the same for the people. They're big, but extremely clumsy! How do they get that big, being so awkward?
Loud is an understatement, considering the camotion. Private covers his earholes.
Nigel laughs, "Noisy, huh?"
"I've never heard a single पेंगुइन be as loud as one of them!" Private whines.
"Well, we'll meet और clamorous penguins, when we get to England." Nigel smiles.
"Why is that?" Private questions.

A young girl taps on her mother's arm. Her mother is talking on her cellphone. Private waddles up.
"Hello, I'm-" Private doesn't even get to finish.
"Mommy!" The girl squeals.
"What?!" The woman asks, quite irked. Then, she stops shocked-just staring at Private.
"Hello!" Private smiles, trying to break the silence. But it is broken soon, और than he wants.

Private can't believe what he's hearing. He thought that he could get along with them. Why do they want to hurt me?! What did I do wrong? They weren't friends-they were predators!
Men dash toward him with cages. Private closes his eyes. He's completely paralyzed.
