As it got later Private's mind and thoughts changed with the sky of the outside and his sanity disappeared with the sun. On the outside he was serene and relaxed since Kowalski came to his rescue, but inside he wanted to end the suffering he kept putting himself through द्वारा the echoing scream of Max that was stuck in his head. Once Kowalski fell asleep he crept toward the sleeping Rico, या at least Private thought he was sleeping.
Skipper limped all night licking his waterless beak for a pinch of liquid to quench his life-threatening thirst. His dehydration was the least of his troubles, through his feathers and skin आप could see his ribs. In fact, the only खाना he had ate he reguriated for Private. The shady सड़क, स्ट्रीट of that vicinity, began to spin around him as his head and stomach ached. He felt himself subconsciencely falling back and resting his weighty eyelids. Before actually falling, he caught himself with the minisquel bit of strength he still had. He finally realized he urgently needed to eat. Even if his team was counting on him, he had to rest, he was exhausting himself to death. The सवाल was: Where would he get his अगला meal? Second. Could he get there before starving.
His eyes scanned the city around him, and it hit him! He knew exactly where he was, but why was that important? Well, a मछली factory was just a few streets away. Now, that doesn't sound like much, but for a puny पेंगुइन in the most populated city in America that's a massive journey, especially for one who's wasting away द्वारा the second.
The factory was in sight as daylight arised over the sky revealing the morning sun that granted a new hope upon the suffering hero. द्वारा ten 'o' clock he reached the door. Picking the lock, wasn't as hard as he thought. All he had to do was stick his flipper inside the keyhole and twist it. द्वारा the end of his raid, he was stuffed and even had trouble getting up. Then he was ready.
That same night, Private crept toward the beast, who had a craving to shed Private's blood, and once was once his friend. He stepped around him checking to make sure he was asleep. A sigh of relief bellowed from Private when he realized his foe was resting, या at least he thought so. Just in time it would seem, Private changed his mind and turned around. Rico seized Private's unexpecting leg and bit down hard.
R: "djsk sldgds dlkghsl! (What are आप doing here!)"
P: "You want vengance and I want to recieve what I deserve.......... Kill me, Rico."
Rico paused, but a few सेकंड्स later tackled the small penguin. Their was plenty of blood spilled as Rico threw punches to Private's face and chest, yet the little, guiltfilled पेंगुइन remained silent. Private's vision blurred as blood splouched all over his face. What was he doing? Rico retreated onto his feet and started circling the helpless penguin. Apparently, he was getting bored and wanted to toy with him. Everytime Private made an attempt to escape या at least get up Rico would push him down, getting harder each time. His hateful eyes potrayed a sinsister sneer. After agonizing minutes, Rico was finished with his fatal torture.
Though Skipper was fed and he had drank well, only one thing could fill his empty and broken heart, but it was uncertain if he would ever see his team, the only thing that mattered to him, alive again. Silent tears descended from his eyes. The zoo wasn't far from here and he'd make it there द्वारा one.
Once he got there everyone stared as he stood on one of the tables and demmanded a meeting. Everyone was speechless.
M: "Is th-that you, Skipper?"
S: "It's me,"
M: "But how?"
S: "What do आप mean 'how'?"
KJ: "We all thought those robber guys killed आप stinky water fowl."
Skipper sighed and hung his head.
M: "Thank goodness you're safe! What happened?"
Marlene hugged Skipper tight.
S: "We were put into पेंगुइन fights."
Mau: "Wait, I thought they only did that with dogs."
S: "Once they got in trouble for that they started doing that with penguins."
M: "Is it just like wrestling?"
S: "They fight to the death in an arena. It's an arena of death."
Mo: "Ouchie!"
S: "You have to help free my men! They're my family!"
Bu: "Yeah, I'll help. After all, आप did help me give that kid his bazooka, बज़ुका back."
Mas: "We'll help. Since आप have done us some favors for Phil and I in the past."
Ba: "Sure, we can help as long as we can beat down some criminals."
S: "Don't worry we all will."
R: "I don't see why I have to help."
S: "Oh really? What about 'Lunacorns on Ice'?"
R: "Oh, right. I'll help!"
S: "I can't believe I'm asking this but ..... आप in lemurs?"
KJ: "You all can be rejoicing now. Your king is going."
There was a lengthy silence.
M: "Let's go save your 'family', Skipper."
She winked and kissed him briefly on the cheek. Skipper was still starstruck द्वारा the time she had swung on Burt's सूँ ढ, ट्रंक and landed on his back. His cheek was on आग with the lust to get more. She was truly was the most missed one that he left at the zoo.
S: "Now, I want all of आप to be prepared. The truth is that not all of आप might not make it back, but it is a great honor to die in battle."
Rog: "Whao, whao, whao, we might die?"
Skipper let out a sigh of defeat and nodded.
M: "Come on, guys. Skipper and his team have done incredibly things for us that have not only changed us for the better but the whole zoo. This is the least we could do for them."
Soon they all were on their way to rescue their friends.
