....Smack dab sitting between two cities of fame and fortune..
Look up, a sky fulfilled with a cool, crisp breeze whistling through my feathers...
The feeling of lifeless water drops lightly upon my beak,
With clear trails left behind as they seem to disappear within my chest feathers.
Sitting upon a steel bench watching the souls full of life walking past me..
Receiving stares and glares as I sit myself upon this bench..
People come, people go,
cars, they come, cars, they go...
Twenty-four seven upon steel and stone.
Where they go, I'll never know...
Breathing in the feeling of cool air within my lungs..
I close my eyes with no thought...
Open a moment later with the view of a city that never sleeps..
Motor vehicles below me, clouds above me..
Feel caught in between a moment..
A moment launched in my cerebrum as a memory...
A good one...
Not to be forgotten....
I sit upon this bridge of steel and stone....
I sit here solo....

But I know I'm not alone.....
