3rd Person's POV


It's a journal. Edward thought in his head.

I saw that आप are holding something, Edward. What is it?

Alice came over to Edward. He was still looking at the book cover itself. "What is it?" Alice asked.

"It's Bella's journal." Edward replied softly.

Alice's eyes widened. "I never knew that Bella had a journal." Alice proclaimed. "I never saw Bella लेखन in it."

"Maybe it's because she started लेखन in it after we left." Edward concluded.

"Let's open it." Alice said.

"Wait, we should have the family come and see this as well." Edward said. Right after he कहा the sentence, the rest of the family came to see what they have found.

"What are आप holding?" Carlisle asked Edward.

"It looks like a journal." Jasper stated.

Edward looked at Jasper and nodded, दिखा रहा है that he was right.

"It's a journal?" Esme questioned.

"Yes." Edward said,

"Whose?" Rosalie asked.

"Bella's." Alice answered.

The whole family looked surprise, they never thought of Bella the type to write a diary about her crushes and her dreams and days when she's upset and sad. They thought of Bella the "suffer in silence" type since the first दिन they met her.

"Should we read it? It's kind of personal for someone else to read your journal isn't it?" Esme asked, unsure.

"Bella told us to understand her past, and it led to this. So I think Bella wants us to read it. Open it up son, read the first page." Carlisle told Edward.

Edward opened the journal and started reading.

September 31, 2005

I know, it's lame that I'm लेखन in a journal. It was a late birthday present that my Aunt Lisa got for me. I had nothing else to do. It's been about three weeks ever since Edward left. I've been losing weight, too much in fact. I'm about eighty pounds now. I haven't been in the mood to eat these days. Dad wants me to go back to Jacksonville with Mom. I refused to, for I may never know if he will come back, but I can't give up hope. I feel like the living dead, not in a vampire way though, I can barely past through all of the days. It's nerve wracking in my opinion. I threw a major tantrum when Dad told me to go home. I threw my clothes everywhere, and began yelling and screaming. I can't blame my parents for being worried about me. I sometimes even think that I'm losing my sanity. Have to go to work.

"See what आप did Edward! I knew that leaving her wouldn't make her feel better. I KNOW that she wouldn't get better!" Alice yelled.

Edward flinched in guilt. He knew that Alice was right.

"Read the अगला passage." Emmett said.

"There's a passage for everyday." Edward said. "It's almost the same every time." He said.

"Read the passage that starts on 2006." Carlisle suggested.

Edward nodd4ed and began reading.

January 12, 2006

I decided that it's time for a change, I went to Jacob's house in La Push last week, and it was surprisingly fun. We hung out in his गेराज and I watch him work. Occasionally some of Jacob's फ्रेंड्स come to visit. Their names are Quil and Embry. They seemed to be lots of fun once आप get to know them. I went out to the फिल्में with Jessica in Port Angeles also. It was great, except for the fact that when there was a bar where the guys in the मोटरसाइकल looked familiar. They looked like the ones who almost attacked me when HE saved me back at the bookstore last year. As I drew closer to the guys, I was hearing Edward's voice. I knew that he wasn't there. I was thinking that I was going crazy. Then I realized that whenever I was going to do something dangerous, Edward voice pops into my head warning me to stop. Since then, I craved to hear his voice. I asked Jake to rebuild the मोटरसाइकल I found at the junkyard. Even though it's just a hallucination, I want to hear it. I still miss Edward. He still left holes in my heart. I'm going to meet Jake after this. I'll write soon.

"She became फ्रेंड्स with Jacob Black?" Emmett asked.

"Seems like it." Alice replied. "Read the most हाल का passage."

The most हाल का one is after this one, Edward realized.

"The newest passage is the one after the one I just read." Edward said.

"Just read it."

I didn't write in this journal for years. My reason आप may ask? I was kidnapped. The last time I wrote in this very journal is the very दिन I got captured. I found out that Jacob and the rest of his फ्रेंड्स were werewolves, which may explain why they have been avoiding me. In frustration, I went cliff diving without them. It turned out to be a horrible दिन to go. As I fell into the water, I nearly drowned due to heavy currents. I didn't realize that Victoria was in the water as well. She took me out of the water, while I was unconscious. I'm now captured in some house in England. I really don't know why Victoria would take me here. I was tortured दिन to day. I'm just surprised that she never killed me yet. Victoria कहा that this was the only possession that I was allowed to have, just to keep me occupied. I never gave up hope; I know that one दिन that Edward will come back for me.

Edward's hand began shaking, while sobs were overtaking his body.

"She expected me to come and save her, and I didn't. She still had faith me."

Carlisle shook his head in sadness.

"Is there another passage?" Rosalie asked.

Edward turned the page.

"No there's not?" he कहा still recovering from his sobs.

"Do आप want to know why?" a voice whispered.

Everyone stood up in surprise.

"Bella?" Edward asked, trying to खोजिए for her.

"Look." Alice कहा pointing to the mirror that was अगला to another book shelf. Bella's form was in the mirror. But her emotions were different. Her face showed pain and sadness, no anger या frustration like last time.

Bella's form in the mirror looked at us in the eyes. All of the Cullens realized that Bella's eyes were brown again.

"I died the अगला day, on my twenty- first birthday."
