It was a normal day. I was in my little, green, beat up SUV, driving to get two coffees, one for me and one for Tanner, my boyfriend. Of course, it was me buying the coffees. He rarely paid for food, drinks, trips, या anything, really. Generally, he had some excuse, but today, he didn’t have one. He’d just texted me saying, “it’d b gr8 if u’d get the coffees @ starbucks. thx bb.”
My money, my car, my stupid gasoline. It was always MY stuff, and he acted like it was his. I was sick of it, but I couldn’t get rid of him. He was all I had. But it seemed like he would get rid of me in a second.
I pulled into a parking अंतरिक्ष and parked the car. Grabbing my worn in Vera Bradley bag, I pulled it over my shoulder and opened the car door, shivering the सेकंड I got outside. It was cold outside, but luckily, I had worn a pale blue floppy sweater, skinny jeans, and a pair of light gray boots. I had put my hair in a fishtail braid, and my make up was neutral, only a light dust of powder, a little bronzer, and mascara. Nothing but lip balm on my lips. I smiled,even though my teeth were chattering. I felt like today would be a good day.
Walking across the pavement, I pulled my phone out f my bag to text Tanner. “There now, babe. आप want any specific coffee...?” It didn’t take long for him to text me back. “large iced coffee plz. thx bb, ur the best.” I rolled my eyes at the line I’d heard a million times. It was like he thought my life depended on hearing that at least seventeen times a day, when I would प्यार it if he called me beautiful या कहा he loved me, which I only heard after sex. He was such a jerk to me... I guess I should’ve broken up with him, but I didn’t because I needed him. Or, at least, I thought I did. I didn’t need the stress and debt that came with him.
I opened the door to the familiar coffee shop, breathing in the scent of hot cocoa, tea, coffee, vanilla, air freshener, and a blend of different फल scents. It was great. I stepped into the line. Pulling out my phone again, I played Ninja Jump while I waited. There were two people in front of me. One guy with beautiful, piercing blue eyes, and messy blond hair that looked just right, even though आप could tell he very rarely paid attention to it. Then, there was a little old lady wearing a very big, very loud hat. It was covered in feathers and flowers, and looked as if it was made in the 1920s. She wore bright lipstick, blue eyeliner, and a lot of mascara. She had a walker. This may sound weird, but she made me smile with her obnoxious look. She was just a cute little old lady, लॉस्ट in the past. I loved it.
“Niall Horan,” stated a स्टारबक्स employee, holding up a white iced cake pop and a green smoothie. The boy in the front of the line, Niall, grabbed the pop and the smoothie, paid, कहा thank you, and left. I watched as he walked from the line, realizing how gorgeous he was. The little old lady stepped up, and I was snapped from my trance, and I stepped up too. She picked up a small hot चॉकलेट and walked away, slowly. I smiled at her. “Hello, would आप like to order?” I looked at the redheaded employee, and smiled politely. “Hello. Yes.” I contemplated what I wanted, and decided of a कारमेल latte’. “I’ll take a large iced coffee and a medium कारमेल latte’.” “That will be ten dollars and sixty-three cents.” I dug my wallet and my coin पर्स out of my bag, and grabbed two fives, two quarters, a dime, and three pennies. I handed her the money. She put it away and asked me my name. “Gracie Callabow.” She scribbled some stuff onto a paper, and told me to stay and wait a few minutes. “Okay, thank you.” I put away my things and felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out. There was a new text from my best friend, Alex. “omg. did आप hear about jess?” I had. Poor Jess’ parents had been in a car accident. “Yes, it totally sucks. I’m going to buy her a card and a box of her प्रिय candy.” I sent the text and put my phone back in my pocket. An employee called my name. They handed me a cup holder with my drinks in it. I thanked them and left the store. My phone buzzed again, but my hands were full, and I didn’t bother to look. I walked to my car and unlocked the doors, storing the coffees in the passenger’s seat. I got inside, put on my seatbelt, and started up the car. I backed out, drove out of the Starbuck’s parking lot, and turned on my प्रिय CD. My copy of ‘When The Sun Goes Down’, the most हाल का Selena Gomez album. I drove to Tanner’s house while I sang along with every song. I was in the middle of ‘My Dilema’, when I pulled into Tanner’s driveway. I turned off the car, grabbed my bag, grabbed the coffees, and opened my door. I stepped out, slammed the door with my boot, and walked to his porch. I didn’t bother to knock, I just walked in and shut the door. “Tanner! I’m here!” I didn’t see him anywhere, but I did see a girl’s कमीज, शर्ट lying on the सोफ़ा, सोफे along with a bra and a pair of shorts. I frowned and walked up the stairs. I noticed moaning noises getting louder and louder as I walked up the stairs. There was a पेटी thrown down at the चोटी, शीर्ष step, and a shut door. The door that led to Tanner’s room. I was really pissed off, because I knew what was happening. I opened his door, to a sight I’ll never forget.
“YOU BITCH! WHAT THE HELL DO THINK YOU’RE FUCKING DOING?!”
