It's just been announced that Radio 1 will broadcast The Story Of One Direction between 9-10pm on BBC Radio 1, Monday 2nd April 2012. The press release states;
"One Direction invite Radio 1 Stories to follow them as they hit America for the first time. With full access to the boy band on the road as they tour with Nickleodeon act Big Time Rush, and prepare to launch their debut album in the country, we find out what it's like to be a Brit band breaking the US.

Harry Styles
Harry Styles will NOT be going solo anytime soon, a rep for One Direction has confirmed.
The rumour mill was forced into action after Kodaline तारा, स्टार Steve Garrigan suggested during an interview with Digital Spy that a song they penned together "could be on his album if he does something".
However, a spokesperson for the आप & I group has now dismissed speculation that Hazza will be flying the 1D nest, stating to E! News: "There are no plans for Harry to release any solo संगीत at this time, any लेखन that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs.
"It's common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album."
The rumour is cleared up!
