BITCH!!!!! To me, a real man is one who puts his family first, even above some stupid war! She didn't appreciate him and she didn't deserve him :(

I just wanted to hug him most of that episode.

Love is a choice, I don't think there's a 'right' time to give up on someone. All I can say is, her loss.

Every woman needs to feel safe around her man. Rumple let her down and choose to live as a coward. How could a woman supposed to feel safe around coward.

(sorry Rumple's fans, but this is my point of view)

@Moonlightrose16 agree!

a coward does whatever it takes to keep himself safe. Rum hurt himself to protect the loved ones. How could that be cowardice?! Only a narrow-minded woman like Milah would think so. She cared more about gossip and what others think than about her family. Funny that in the end she was the one to bring shame to her family by running away with a pirate, abandoning her son.

Rumple brough shame to his family. In that time, things were like that.
But i do agree with you, Milah was being a bitch for leaving her son,but not for judging Rumple.

I mentioned this on an earlier poll but when I heard that we were going to see more of Milah I thought we'd get the chance to get to know her and understand why she did what she did. That we would see her transformation from the generally good woman that Rumps fell in love with to the woman we meet in the Crocodile. This is we something we have gotten with every other villain. Milah's good to bad transformation was very disappointing and didn't really make any scence.

love is a choice but you don't walk out on your husband when he wanted to be there for his son. So far out of everything we have Seen from MIlah she isn't looking good. Now rumple not perfect but injuring yourself so you can be there for your family is a pretty good thing.

I don't think there is ever any reason to give up on your spouse like that.

To add to my first statement; I'm not even quite sure if she left Rumple yet, she walked out the door in frustration. My dad has done that, he just needed time to think, and he came back. That very well could be what Milah was doing, after all, in episode 4 of this season she was still with him. I don't think she left him during this episode nor gave up on him this episode seeing as she was with Rumple until she met Hook. So it wasn't as abrupt as it appeared.

^I think the implication of her leaving Rumple was that that was the moment she started going out to the pubs/talking trash about him, and that she had, at that point given up.

I'm not sure if Milah is meant to be as shallow as she's appearing, or if the writers are just using her as an easy scapegoat to gain more Rumple sympathy. Either way, I really didn't care for her characterization this last episode. She was upset that Rumple was going to war, but then was upset that he didn't stop himself from dying in the war...? And then, she was so upset that her husband didn't die in a war she wasn't happy about him being in that she storms out of the house when he comes home..?

She just ping-ponged all over.

I agree with bri-marie in the biggining of the episode she was kind and understanding and the suddenly she was cruel and shallow. Ether something hormonal got screwed up during her pregnancy or it was just sloppy and lazy writing. Biggest disappointment since the halloween episode where Gina goes from sweet to ripping out some random wenches heart in the space of five mins.

I have to agree with all those who didn't like the way Milah was written. It really didn't make sense. I thought she would be more understanding when she was being happy for Rumple possibly outliving his father's legacy. Then it seemed she only cared about her reputation. I don't believe she ever really loved him, but even for that possible time period, you'd think she would have stuck it out longer. For instance, was there no honor to marriage vows? If I'm not mistaken marriage was taken pretty seriously. If she really loved him, she would have been happy to have him return to her alive rather than dead. Above that, she wouldn't need validation of his cowardice or bravery. I don't know, she just bothers me too much. Hopefully there will be more to the story that will make sense or we never see her again.

Rumple killing her was a cowardly move (the same thing goes for his abandonment of Bae) but this is something I'm totally fine with. I wouldn't want to die there even if I hadn't a son. I don't understand that USA is fine with sending people to the war in Iraq,..... I hate wars. Her loss that she cared about everyone else's opinions. I'm glad I didn't live in the past (even though I'm not against the thought of reincarnation.)

She stayed with him for approximately 10 years (guessing from Bae's age in various flashbacks) while suffering from depression due to their situation and the consequences of Rumple's actions.
