Okay, so I think my चोटी, शीर्ष 5 villains are all quite psychotic या HAVE BEEN at some point in their lives. I'm going to rank all 5 of them out of 10 of how evil I think they were during their darkest times.

1. Regina as the Evil क्वीन during her big bad rein: 8/10
I gave her 8 out of 10 because she was pretty evil, no kidding. She slaughtered villages, ripped out hearts, tore families apart and trapped people in her गढ़, महल who had done nothing wrong. But now, she obviously isn't like that. The 8/10 was purely based on what she USED to be like.

I just recently watched the Season One episode, (1.07) "The दिल Is a Lonely Hunter" again. The following happened in a flashback near the end of the episode:

(The Evil क्वीन magically sticks her hand through the Huntsman’s chest. When she draws back, his दिल is in her hand.)

Did anyone else see the parallels between the compass in "Tallahassee" and the magic सेम, बीन in "...And Straight On 'Til Morning"?

Both the सेम, बीन and the compass are necessary tools to travel between the worlds and are a symbol of hope. Both items take a lot of hassle to procure - climbing the beanstalk and fighting the giant for the compass and growing and fighting Tamara and Greg for the bean.

In "Tallahassee" Emma has the compass and refuses to let Hook hold it before deciding to not to risk trusting him and chaining him up. She couldn't risk trusting him because she had to get back to Henry....

CoraCora (Barbara Hershey) is the cruel and controlling mother of Evil क्वीन Regina. She feels that Regina does not act like a proper lady and wants her to achieve a high status in life, just as Cora, a miller's daughter, elevated her own status through marriage. She is also dismissive of her husband Henry and believes he coddles Regina too much. She uses her magical powers to force Regina to प्रस्तुत करे to her demands. Cora causes a child Snow White's horse to become wild, knowing that Regina would save Snow. Cora then uses this opportunity to arrange a marriage between Regina and Snow's father...

The Tallahassee Flashbacks

I believe that the writers were trying to create a tragic romance in Neal and Emma's backstory, a scenario where she would realistically believe that he'd used her but in truth it'd been a sacrifice. However, it didn't fully work, not for me anyway. My main problem with their relationship in the Tallahassee flashbacks is the fact that Neal didn't need to betray Emma to the police. It's implied that the shock of being arrested and imprisoned was required to frighten Emma out of her current criminal lifestyle, but surely Neal could have simply told her that he wanted...

Despite OUAT being intended as a family-friendly TV series, it contains a lot of story-lines and pairings which involve a lack of consent या dubious consent. Most of these are not recognised या acknowledged within the story. These are the ones I've identified:

During the flashbacks in The दिल Is A Heavy Hunter, Regina ripped out the Huntsman's heart, squeezed it to display the effect this would have and threatened to crush it if he ever disobeyed her. She then kissed him against his will and ordered him taken to her bedchamber. The clear implication here is that she raped him. The writers...

So all of the chatting I've been doing with Audreygrace had gotten me to thinking. Mostly about the psychology of our core characters and how they work with and compare to one another. I am particularly captured द्वारा Regina in comparison to Gold. They are so similar yet so different. And so I wanted to type up a little something about it. I'll be using bits and chunks of the aforementioned comments.

Positives:

As some of आप know, it's MM I mainly hate not Snow. This is because of things she did in Storybrooke.
Positives:
Snow isn't like the डिज़्नी Snow, a damsel in distress. I like how bad-ass she is and that she doesn't need a prince to come and save her. She is also quite selfless, no completely, but quite selfless. When she ate the सेब so that Charming could live was very ब्रेव of her. She is also loyal to Red which makes me happy since Red/Ruby is my favorite. The way she helped her out...

I think with the latest episode, Page 23, we've finally completed an important arc. Over the summer I made an लेख about my speculations as to weather या not Regina hates herself as well as her ability to forgive herself (link). Now I finally get to type one to sort of लपेटें it up.

Since that last लेख it has been confirmed that Regina really did hate herself with a degree of intensity. That moment when the ऐरो leads the क्वीन to a mirror was so emotional. How she stares at herself in the mirror, crying and saying no. And then her father softly saying, "oh, Regina." That had to be one...

I was just thinking about the fairy tale characters' real world counterparts, and I noticed that most of them had names that tied into their "real," fairy tale selves. So I decided to throw together a सूची of their names, with meanings and explanations, just for kicks. First I will say what the character's name is in fairy tale land, then in the real world, with meaning attached. All name meanings come from the website Behind the Name, with help from Wikipedia.
