Palmer all the way! I love him and all of his awkward goofiness, it's great. And he's a cute guy, with his curly hair and Harry Potter glasses. I completely forgot about Gerald being on the show. But I can't help it. It's just that Palmer fits in so well that he makes it seem like he's been with the group since the beginning. He just has that way about him. And I agree with liat1989, they should make him a proper cast member. He's been with them for about five or six years now, he's earned it.

For all you who are asking Gereld was in the first season of ncis, he wasen't shown that much, in the episode Bete Noire he was shot by Ari in Autopsy and left the show, he came back in Kill Ari but after that nothing

The reason i am saying Jimmy is because he funny and has the knack to make a awkard moment funny, we didnt see much of Gereld, but he did have a good relationship with Ducky

It seems people who work in the morgue never get enough screen time. Jimmy however I loved since the start, his personality, his appearance, everything. But I can't say that it's a fair comparison, I didn't know Gerald well enough to say if I liked him or not. He didn't have many lines and none of them were very memorable. The only thing the writers focused on with him was that he found Ducky's stories as annoying as anyone else on the show.

Gerald Jackson was Ducky's assistant for the first few seasons of NCIS but was injured in the Ari Story Ark when Ari made his first appearance then reappeared again shortly in the "Kill Ari" season launch. We haven't seen or heard from him since...
