Both are great though.

She had a rough start, but I think once she got away from Tom, her career really took off and her performances are just great.

Kidman's best performances: "To die for", "The others", "Dogville", "Birth", "Margot at the wedding" and "Rabbit hole" better than...
Portman's best performances: "Léon", "Cold Mountain", "Closer" and "Brothers".
Their Oscar winning roles (I don't think either of them deserved them over their competition but I love both movies): "The hours" > "Black swan".
Their worst performances: "Star wars" (the 3 of them) > "Bewitched", "The stepford wives" and "Australia".
"Cold mountain": Portman's 15 minutes better than Kidman's entire screentime
2011 Oscar nomination: Kidman in "Rabbit hole" better than Portman's Academy award winning role for "Black swan"





(BTW, if you thought I was gonna put "Eyes wide shut", "Moulin Rouge", "The interpreter", "V for Vendetta", "The other Boleyn girl" and "Where the heart is" as part of their best, you're just fucking nuts... XP)

I don't know exactly why, but I really don't like Kidman, she's kind of annoying, while Natalie is one of my favorite actresses.
