Good point ;) i think he loves her to apparently in ep 8 of series 1 there was quite a sexy romantic scene with them but they cut it out :( i heard colin and katie talk abou it on youtube its called colin and katie on morgana and merlin

I think in the end it will be no one, becuase he did 'love' well let's say, liked Gwen, but then just stayed friends with her, and Merlin always had a place in his heart for Morgana, but on her return he may not, and the Freya/Merlin relationship will become too complicated when Freya becomes the Lady of the Lake...

However, if Merlin DID end up with anyone, it would be a young girl who is fascinated with magic and is a 'Knight Princess'.....

I think he loves Gwen, but as a friend, and it's clear that he really cares about Morgana otherwise he wouldn't have cried when he poisoned her, or told Morgause which poison he'd used so she could cure her :)
I also really think he cares/cared about Freya, and had feelings for her, but he didn't spend that much time with her. Not enough time for him to love her..

I think Freya/Merlin is a great relationship. If it ever gets to morgana/merlin i reckon it will be a suduce thing because we know they will eventually become enemys.

Plus i cant wait to see what happens with freya/merlin when she comes back as lady in the lake :)

He is always Arthur this and Arthur that. He even tried to poison Morgana for Arthur. He sure does not love Morgana. And she knows that he is not the good guy he pretends to be.

You people really need to get a grasp on relationships. Merlin and Arthur only work as friends, romantically it's a pretty abusive relationship. Arthur is always putting Merlin down and never repects him or holds him in high favour (i.e. 2.01, he was just going to ditch Merlin after everything they went through). I love their brotherly bickering relationship it's just a shame SOME people have to turn it into something sexual :/
