Chapter 3: a sacrifice for future’s sake

Merlin returns from his work for Arthur to his chambers and finds Gaius sitting over some big, old dusty पुस्तकें searching for an answer for the sudden illness of King Uther.

She was staring at her window , smiling , the sun was warming up her beautiful face and making shine the diamonds on her dress. She was in peace and felt..surprinsingly satisfied. That pleasant moment didnt last long though , the knock on her door brought her back to reality. She put her hair up , straightened her crown and stayed staring at her windows

Gaius’ relationship with Merlin was very much like a father-son relationship. He advised him, reassured him, taught him values, and was संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर always there for him. I’m just so glad he had him, because as we know, Merlin grew up without a father, so having Gaius at his side must have been so comforting for him. And Merlin was like the son he never had.
