Yes! But if he didn't keep running away, then Gwen and Arthur couldn't grow as a couple. So when he does come back and become a knight (that's not a spoiler, I'm just assuming) then it will be really intense when he starts to come between a relationship that has been really strong ever since the last time he left. it keeps stuff interesting. :)
