I do NOT think "inlove" or "love" is something you throw around. It may be easy to say & yet love demands the action to back it up and that needs to be real not just a word. It is nice & wonderful, but NOT an automatic or a "given." I have noticed that in the last few relationships I have been in, the other person said "I love you" very fast and they were "inlove" very fast (???) & that tends to make me nervous or skeptical. I think if you stay in a healthy relationship that love tends to build, and it is only natural that emotions deepen... (maybe), over time.

Sure @FlyWithMeNick & some adults don't... even some who are plenty old enough & who have been married ~ lol. But I don't know if it is a trend I am seeing, or just me, & maybe because I am usually an aloof type to begin...maybe that is why I get told that so often or "Who Knows"??? I love deeply when I love & I believe in love~ sure, but I also think it is deeper than just a word...so I just wondered XI

Well of course like Butterless Toast said, you can't start out already in love. Some relationships are light and fun, some relationships are serious. Not everything has to be a serious relationship. I define love pretty strictly, I say that if you love someone you're pretty much ready to marry them. I definitely was not at a place in my life before that I was ready to marry from the first relationship

you can love someone without being in-love! but its not much of a relationship, might i add, if theres no deep feeling of being in love. But sometimes it takes a little while to fall in love with someone but you know you like them and want to be with them. Its different for different ppl... but no you dont have to be in love. p.s. i agree with butterless toast and jilly winkles.

I have nothing more to say than yeah. At least I wouldn't want to be in a relationship if I'm not in love with the person. To me that would be a relationship built on fake feelings and in the end one of them will probably cheat

i think that if you are not in love in a relationship then what the point of being in that relationship, i dont want to waste my time, energy and feelings on a relationship that is not going any where.
