I can't believe people can even think this. There's no way that they could be making this up as they go along. Maybe every detail wasn't planned out, but they have the ending all figured out by now.

I just don't understand what the big deal is over this. Should it really matter whether or not the writers have had every single little detail planned out from the beginning? The only thing that should matter is whether everything turns out to be good.

When people say this I just wanna shut my head in an oven and set it on high.
I mean clearly there has been some minor improvisation by the writers from season 1 to season 5, but they clearly know where they're going with the story and even looking back on season 1 things are finally starting to make sense in the grand scheme of things.

And the most ignorant thing about this statement is that most people who say it stopped watching after season 2.

Just cause I love Kate centric episodes!
Although I ship for Sawyer and Kate, I love Jack very, very, very mUch! But sometimes I just get annoyed with his behaviour. For example, in the last ep he was willing to erase the past and I got mad with him! So I can understand why some people dislike him.

I hate Jack and care about Rose and Bernard!! But it's not complaining!)))

Without delving to much into an 'anti-jack/pro-jack debate' I just wanted to say that with such a large cast of characters its understandable that fans will choose to like/dislike certain characters for one reason or another.

For me Jack is moody,ignorant, and stubborn to a point that he's extremely hard to like or identify with, especially when he does stupid things that leave the audience screaming at the television. That topped with the fact that he, in the past got the majority of the screentime for no reason other than the fact he's considered lead when others could have used the character development instead of another emo doctor 'why me' flashback.
