This science IS infact real. This show is based off the work of Dr. Paul Ekman, he discovered that reading clues in the human face, body and voice can detect when a person is lying. It's the same science we see in this show.

The science is defintely real. Paul Ekman has written a detailed book 'Telling Lies' (heavy going) and there is a great free ebook called 'The Black Book of Lie Detection' which I got from this site link .Best test is for you to try the techniques out. I have and biy do they work. Caught my girlfriend out at the weekend. Now she is being very nice to me and is sorry
