So I watched the musical Les Miserables, a few months ago, and while I did प्यार the movie overall, I noticed there were characters that I absolutely adored, and others I just hated, and some that were just meh.

Keep in mind I have not read the novel, so भालू with me!

8. Cosette

I honestly adored her when she was a child, but I hated adult her. She was super boring, a Mary Sue, annoying and an संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर bad character! For one, her relationship with Marius annoys me and comes out of nowhere. Another thing I dislike about her is that she leaves the Thenaiders, but she just acts like it never happened. I'm sorry, but I just hate her so much!

7. Marius

Okay, I don't necessarily hate him, I do sympathize with him, losing all his friends, but I have issues with his character. Okay, so he wanted to be with Cosette, not Eponine. Okay, fine, I understand that, even if I preferred Eponine with him. My issue is, did he really have to try to make Eponine help get them together? I mean, he knew how her father would react, yet he still had her go. But also, I felt he was a little cold towards Jean Valjean when his secret was revealed. I don't know, maybe, I just don't understand his character.

6. Enjorlas

Okay, I like him, but he affected me very little in the movie. He just wasn't that interesting and I didn't find him that memorable. I only remembered him because my फ्रेंड्स kept talking about him. I don't, I see many people count bin as a main character, so I added him to this list...

5. Mr. and Mrs. Thenaider

I do find the song "Master of the House" very enjoyable, and their संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर character is entertaining (mostly) however, that's where it ends on terms of liking these characters. It is shown at the beginning that they are really abusive towards Cosette, and very loving towards Eponine, but after she leaves it seems like they're abusive towards Eponine. They also lie to Fantine about needing money, saying Cosette is sick and they need money. I get that's apart of their character.

4. Fantine

I find it a shame that we saw so very little of Fantine in the musical. She seems to be a kind woman, who cares very much about her daughter, even if she can't take care of her. She becomes a prostitude, just so she has enough money to pay for her daughter. Again, it is such a shame that we see so little of her.

3. Jean Valjean

I प्यार seeing his character development and how he tries to get away from his life as a "slave to the law". He is kind to care for Cosette, even kind to save Marius just so Cosette will be happy. Like Fantine, Jean cares very much for Cosette and often puts her happiness before his own.

2. Javert

I know he's the villain and all, but he's just one of those villains आप can't help but just love, even और than the protagonist. I mean, if आप do think about it , it's really not his fault he wants to catch Jean Valjean. He's really just doing his job, even if he is a little too over obsessive with his job. He also kind of realized his mistake, even if he did kill himself afterwards.(Plus, who knew Russel कौआ, कौवा could sing???)

Last but not least...

1. Eponine

I don't think this comes as a surprise, since I talked so fondly of her before. I really feel bad for this girl, she had to grow up with the Thenaiders, and she got friend zoned really badly. I really relate to her, as I am a hopeless romantic too and have obsessed over a guy who loved someone else. I also like how Marius loving Cosette never really caused Eponine to hate Cosette in anyway. In fact, she defended Cosette and Jean Valjean from her father.

Anyway thanks for पढ़ना and hoped आप enjoyed!

Les Mis is, per the motto, the longest-running musical in Broadway history. For such a phenomenon to occur, there have to be at least 2 demographics: the प्रेमी and the haters. Making a film adaptation of such a musical, आप are met with equal reactions. The lovers, waiting in anticipation, and the haters, groaning about how far society has blown up a travesty. Since I'm neither, never before having seen the दिखाना या read the book, I went to the film with an open mind- expecting to see a good movie with संगीत I knew. And that's what I got. There are many advantages to film. One is able to much...

 Cossette and Valjean.
Cossette and Valjean.
Okay, I basically know that these 2 songs were written specially for the movie. So here are my reasons on why Suddenly and it's reprise should be included in the stage version या not.

It should be in the Stage Version

As some of us (including myself) had seen the stage and watched the movie, I personally think that the song really should be in the stage version, because it shows that it's Valjean's moment and he's telling us that is going to be a father for the first time and telling us that he will try his best despite it was not the right time to tell Cossette about his past. I also personally...

Sola Yo

What do we प्यार Les Mis for? Well – you'll say – where should we start? The story, the characters, the music, the great performances... And, last, but not least: the lyrics.
I प्यार the lyrics of Les Miserables and think they express much in a very simple way. I will focus on 10 texts which I've chosen and I will write what makes them so deep and worth of our attention. It's going to be a kind of litterary analysis, but not taken too strictly. The order of the songs will be like in the musical (well, this time is the exception). So, we will start with...
