Aaron hollered a battle cry and rushed into the shadows, not thinking..just acting. Michael and I waited in anticipation for a sign from Aaron, the longer we waited the और scared/anxious I got. My father and I ate in silence, I did my best to focus on dinner, but couldn't stop myself from watching Ruthie out of the corner of my eye. I wasn't sure what I would do, but I knew that if someone was rude to her I would not be able to stop myself.
