I turned to ask Emmett and Rosalie how they were doing...but they were a little preoccupied at the moment and none of us wanted to interrupt them.

I had been checking Rosalie over, looking for any sign of what happened. It was very difficult to tell if Rosalie was alright, I couldn't take her pulse, या check her respirations since she had neither. I heard Bella's voice asking where I was at the same time that I moved into the door way, smiling at Carlisle as he moved to block the door. I heard Esme tell Bella that she just needed to look, as I moved into the room.
