***Edward's POV***
This annoyed the officers, they were hoping that we would just go along...that we would just admit to the entire thing.
"Would it be possible for your parents to come down tonight?"
"No." Emmett said, his arms flexing to make him look और intimidating. "Our father is a doctor, and he is at the hospital tonight. He could be here tomorrow afternoon, when he finishes.
"Fine." The senior officer कहा as he glared at all of us. "Tomorrow afternoon, five pm?"
"We will do that." Jasper said.
"Make sure आप do." The younger cocky cop कहा before he turned and walked back towards their ruined car, the older officer directly behind him...I knew that when we went to this questioning that it would be anything but fun.
Chapter 37
***Rosalie's POV***
I watched my Edward, and for the first time in over one hundred years I saw something that had been missing..hope. I knew that the five of us would have a very interesting conversation when we got back home, या back to the hotel...but for now we had to just get out of the alley.
"Edward," Alice said, a dreamy look on her face. "Edward, why don't आप make sure that they get back to the hotel? We wouldn't want them to run into any further trouble."
I looked at Alice, wishing for a fraction of a सेकंड that I could hear what she was thinking, या see what she had just seen. It was something that I had gotten use to over the last fifty years या so, the fact that Alice and Edward knew things before the rest of us..and often would not share what they knew.

"Don't do anything else that will get us in trouble." I कहा as Emmett grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards where Alice and Jasper were waiting. I made sure that my thoughts were full of how annoyed I was at this time, how irresponsible Edward had been, and how we were cleaning up his mess again...and finally about how happy Esme and Carlisle were going to be when they found out that they had to come to town to meet with police.
"Yeah, I know." Edward कहा softly.
I looked back over my shoulder and saw him watching me, I knew that he had heard all my thoughts, and I didn't care. It was things he needed to hear, and that we would all discuss shortly. "I remember that feeling." Emmett कहा as he pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly before चुंबन me. "I remember the first time I saw you..well..the first time I really saw you..after the bear..when i woke up. The feeling that someone या something had brought us together, to never be separated again."

"Emm." I कहा as he took my hand back in his and started walking through the busy downtown streets. "IF this girl is the one, then we have और problems then we thought we did."
"Yep." Emmett कहा as he laughed. "Leave it to Edward to make our lives a little more....exciting."
I was about to answer him when my phone rang, I had it out of my पर्स in a fraction of a second..my breath stopping as Esme's face smiled up at me from my caller id. I didn't want to answer this call, I didn't want to be the one to explain this whole mess. I thought about ignoring the call when I saw her face again and knew that I had to do this, I had to tell her and Carlisle everything that was going on.
