Lizards. The प्रिय snack of my cat. I’m tempted to अपलोड a video of him eating all but the tiny toxic bit, what I make up must be a छिपकली large intestine. It’s anything but large – these lizards aren’t dinosaurs, they’re the garden variety. 6, 8 inches max.
The January weather has come back around to the way I प्यार it so in San Diego. Our equivalent to winter is wetness and that seems to have all dried up. Warmth becomes us and the lizards emerge to the concrete surfaces, lifting their heads high, gazing directly...

A sign पोस्टेड on a door for hotel staff had been defaced and now read, "Hot__ Associates Only." This kind of human behavior and fondling of letters inspires me. Upon seeing it, I am moved to fetch me lady and me camera and have her pose as if she's entering the special room. Whatever might go on in a room reserved for hot associates only, I hope there's lots of oil and a communal lathering.
By the time I get to my room to get the camera I've completely forgotten about the task. I could blame it on where my mind had wandered...

Tonight I host Mr. Toca Rivera for रात का खाना and a rehearsal of new songs. It’s hard to believe he and I have been together for और than 10 years now. Looking back at the last decade I've so much to be thankful for, his friendship included. Rather than making this blog a stroll down memory lane, I’ll stay present and सूची a decade’s worth of Gratitude (what I can remember of it anyway) in 90 seconds. Go.
I am grateful for:

I’m a प्रशंसक of positive articulation. To me, this is a step beyond positive thinking. It’s putting your positive thoughts into action – into doing – into words.
Every New Year’s I resolve to do something new/different with my life. Something grand. Something transformative. Sometimes it’s to continue doing something I love, but often it’s a new invention of some kind. Last year, the main theme was activism and in 2010 I certainly got my feet wet, literally द्वारा tromping thru the Lake Volta Region in Ghana, learning...

Second to words, I’m a numbers guy. I like significant dates, digits, and planetary transits. I’ve been drawn to the number 1134 since I discovered while dangling upside-down with a calculator that it read, HELL. Seeing 1134 on the clock, odometer, या as the total on a receipt always makes me feel, if sadistically, like I’m in the right place at the right time. The same with 11:11. I always make a wish. Of course, whether या not it works is all just a story I made up, but it shifts my attention back...

This is the most extraordinary recording I own. Whenever I play just the audio for people, the common reaction to the round of applause at the end is one that accompanies awe. “THAT was LIVE?!”
Check This Out. It's 13 मिनटों short and आप may not understand a word... Offer yourself the time. Give yourself permission to be moved द्वारा something new. This is your journey after all, and it was आप who stumbled upon this music. The universe obviously wants आप to hear this.

3542 miles so far and not once have I had to buy water. I know everyone who reads this blog uses a reusable water bottle – and I thank आप for hooking up your फ्रेंड्स and family this holiday season.
Every time I refueled I would carry my water bottle and hot mug into the gas station and get clean cold water from the soda फव्वारा (usually a little button under the lemonade) and hot water from the coffee machine. (Starbucks also gives free hot and cold filtered water.) Carrying my own चाय also made my travels super enjoyable,...

I received this little story in my ई मेल इनबॉक्स recently, and upon पढ़ना it, I immediately thought of SuperForest. We have talked about redefining wealth and success before, but this is a simple story that illustrates the common thread of abundance and gratitude that often shows up in our SuperForest universe.
Let’s share this story with our loved ones, especially during this holiday season, as it is important to remind ourselves to be grateful for what we have, and...

Acidophilus should be spelled Assidophilus.

Santa Fe is thought to be a vortex; a geographical location so energetic it naturally attracts intuits, nudists, and naturalists and forces the visitor and resident alike to find healing thru harmony. It is कहा to be quite impossible to remain in this energy unless “equilibrium...

Things I DON'T want for Christmas:
- Pants that are too small
- Clock Radio
- Giant Earthworm
- Portable Sauna, even though it looks really clever.
Whenever I'm in a Sauna, I like to say, "It's like a sauna in here." even when I'm द्वारा myself.
I once shared a Sauna with Ingrid Michaelson when we were on tour together in Sweden. The Swedish प्यार Saunas. I don’t recall the Sauna ever getting hot and we ended up just sitting there in the wooden box talking about how boring it was.
Tonight I had a Sauna all to myself during a spontaneous...

In Kansas, they प्यार their unborn babies. A lot. From KC to the CO state line, येशु has "highered" billboards advocating the keeping of one’s baby. I assume there is an argument या epidemic of कचरे के डिब्बे, कूड़ेदान शिशु in Kansas if there is a need for so many billboards.
I kept a keen watch of the billboards hoping to catch the World’s Largest Ball of Twine. Apparently the Twine town has the World’s Smallest Advertising because I totally missed it. Dang!

Traffic came to a turtle’s pace when I entered into St Louis. I wondered if me adding one और car to the rush घंटा mix was throwing the city off a little. Why is it called rush घंटा when it’s generally slow?
I’m also curious as to how much a population varies from दिन to दिन – what with people coming and going, driving and flying, birthing and dying, etc. Regardless, if the hospitable citizens of St Louis are hoping to count my head tomorrow, I’ll be gone.
I प्यार being on the road. For the past 7 years I’ve been in the back of the...

6 hours from Nashville, 33 ½ years since birth. Final destination: California, साल 2977. I’m not attached to being a thousand years old but if I get anywhere close, I’ll buy every reader of this blog a chai latte with steamed eggnog. In barista jargon that’s known as a “Cheg” and it only comes out on special occasions.
The weeks spanning from Thanksgiving to New Year’s are typically my most gluttonous. Maybe this is why येशु gets so लोकप्रिय around this time of साल – what with all the people blessing their piles of food,...
