I feel sorry for the guy seriously, come on if edward was in Jacobs shoes everyone will look at him like some poeple do to Jacob. Jacob behaves like this because he loves bella but was tooo late.He was the shoulder to cry on and he felt like bella smacked him hard when she forgave Edwrad.But sometimes he can be a bit overboard but still give him a chance because its so a bit unrequitedlove for him.

I don't understand Jacob-bashing. It's as baffling as Santa Claus-bashing. Jacob is a great character and Steph has written him beautifully and with much love. She has said that she truly loves Jacob. If the writer loves him, I am apt to assume and reader who hates Jacob just doesn't get him or are incapable of reading between the lines and see how adorable he is - after all, Stephenie intended him to be loved just as much.

Jacob is a good guy. Most Edward fans just don't understand (but some of them do) and are too prejudice to get it. Just because he's in love with Bella. He also lost her so I really don't see what their problem is. God she chose Edward over him. I wish it would stop. I think the whole Jacob Bashing is the reason I'm reluctant to go to any Edward fansite or talk to any Edward fans for fear they will say something bad about them.
and just to let some of you know yes there are Jacob Black fans who Bash Edward, I've seen it...on youtube, it does upset me

People are so mean to Jacob! He was actually there for her when stupid Edward walked out on her. I think she's just infatuated with Edward. So much of their relationship is based on physical attraction. He's a friggin drug! Jacob is AMAZING.

Well... I don't hate them all since some are my friends, but this is the closest to my opinion.

I'm totally on team Edward, but Jacob makes a great friend and we ought to respect that.

Jacob is an ass!!!! I'm sorry, but if you have a problem with that go talk to Meyers...she wrote him that way. When he said "kiss me or I'm going to kill myself", that was it him. There is only one way that this character can get saved. He needs to save Edward and sacrifices himself instead.

I dont like the hate. It's not cool. I love edward but I love Jake too. Yeah he can be slightly annoying at times but he's still a great guy. He just cares a lot for Bella and he was there for Bella when she need him.

Edward is alright. There isn't really much going on with his character to intrigue me much. Like he's too perfect, y'know? Jake is complex, he has flaws and that's what makes him a good character. Leaves lots of pages open for character development.

I think most of them are so in love with the Bella/Edward pairing that they feel they have to hate someone who stands in that pairing's way, even if the threat is temporary and is a part of the plot.

Or they love Edward so much that they think they have to hate anyone who hates him.
