I was never really a superstitious person. I had a normal upbringing. I’d seen my share of horror films when I was a kid.     When I woke up, I couldn’t remember all that had happened until I felt Jacob laying beside me. Then everything came rushing back with amazing clearness. The shock of it all made me gasp.
