I don't think anyone does. It's almost impossible to live in a modern-day secular society without breaking, or at least bending a little, some of the rules of our faith. Most Muslims these days would agree with me on this one. I mean, how can you explain all those Muslims all over the world eating pork, or those who drink alcohol, for example, or even take drugs? If I would follow all the rules of our faith to the word, then I would have to lose myself, reject everything that I am, everything that makes me the man that I am today. No faith on earth can possibly demand that! Just take a look at my motto and you'll get the picture. I'm sure you all know what does it feel to be an outcast sometimes. I think, our faith is way too demanding on many occasions. I mean, why should we let anyone to change us into something that we're not? I'm gay and I'm also a Muslim, in that order. Do I think of myself as a good Muslim? Honestly, I never thought of that. It's not my place to make such assessment. Even if, in the eyes of the world, I may not be the best Muslim ever, I'm still a Muslim in my heart. I think, that's all it really matters. Don't you think so?
