Okay so I thought that I would give a Huli fic a shot since I've never written one before and this idea was nagging at me so I had to give it a shot. Sooo yeah, enjoy, and tell me if I should continue या not :D
On camera, they were professionals. Off camera, they were friends. At least that’s how it used to be. Now, on camera, they were professionals gone awry and off, they were strangers. The reason for this was the fact that Hugh Laurie took it upon himself to not only say that Lisa was a horrid kisser in an interview in front of millions of viewers, present and future, but that he had no interest in her whatsoever and that the प्रशंसकों needed to let the whole Huli thing die away for good. He was happily married and loved his children very much with no intentions of leaving any of them. Huddy was one thing. Huli was something totally different and inappropriate. He grew tired of people flocking to him on the streets every single day, asking him when he was going to get together with Lisa. Others would ask him when he was going to divorce Jo and marry Lisa. On that one particular दिन during that solo interview, he कहा some things that needed to be कहा a long time ago. Enough sugarcoating.
Lisa, however, took part of that as an insult. She knew from experience that she was a very good kisser and it upset her that he would say something like this, broadcasting it to the world without even considering her thoughts. Not only that, but she had feelings for him. She only कहा he wasn’t her type so she could try to daunt those feelings.
It didn’t work.
She was still crazy about him, as if she were an obsessed schoolgirl that had a crush on the hottest, most लोकप्रिय guy there. Every now and then, Lisa was known to stalk those she had a crush on. What’s-his-face from Project मार्ग, रनवे was one of them. From time to time, she would also stalk Hugh. She knew he was married, so he wouldn’t be doing anything unfaithful on his way home. He would get घर and lock himself away until he left the अगला morning to go to work.
She wanted him. She loved him very much. या at least she did until she heard what he कहा about her. Now she was just angry. It showed. At work, she didn’t know whether to ignore him या hate him for ignoring her. The only time they were together was if they had to be in the same screen together. And even that was hard for Lisa. It didn’t take Hugh long to derive a conclusion. She was mad at him, but he didn’t know why. He had to find out why.
Lisa told whoever to come in that was knocking on her dressing room door. When she saw it was Hugh, she straightened her head out and resumed fixing up her makeup, ignoring the fact that with just a tiny glance in any direction, she would be able to see him behind her, thanks to the mirror she was currently using.
“What do आप want?” she asked, keeping her eyes fixated on the areas she was touching up on her face.
“I want to know what your problem is with me,” he said, bluntly letting it come out.
“What makes आप think I have a problem with you?” She applied और mascara, not even looking back at Hugh through the mirror. She wouldn’t give him that satisfaction.
“Oh come on Lisa, I’m not stupid. If आप don’t tell me vocally, it’s in your body language. It’s affecting us अभिनय together. आप need to get it straightened up, whatever it is.”
There were so many ways she could go with that. She was so close to spinning around in her chair and yelling at him. Her body burned to do so. Her leg muscles twitched, begging her to turn around. But Lisa didn’t. She knew if she did, there would be और issues at hand than her issue with Hugh.
“Yeah, that’s right, always thinking about yourself. Goodbye, Hugh,” she कहा instead and continued touching up her makeup.
Hugh didn’t move. Now she glanced over slightly and saw him still standing there.
“What?”
“Lisa, how old are you? You’re अभिनय three!”
Lisa chuckled unhumorously, capping her eyeliner. “Yeah, says the man who insulted me in front of millions of people because he can’t deal with his wife getting hate mail,” she threw out sarcastically and came to a stand quickly.
“Is that what this is about?” he asked, astonished, his bright blue orbs shining as his eyes widened.
“Well what else would it be about? आप wounded me out there, Hugh, and for that, I can’t ever forgive you. Excuse me.”
She brushed द्वारा him and left him standing there alone in her dressing room. Tears built up in her eyes. “Oh no, not now,” she pleaded and tried to tilt her head back to blink them away before they messed up her eye makeup. A salty taste formed at the back of her throat. The tears wanted to keep coming.
She couldn’t do this anymore. It felt like someone was tugging at her heart, trying to rip it out of her chest. What Hugh कहा about her hurt very much. He became someone she didn’t know, but nonetheless, she still loved him. She was crazy about him and that’s why it hurt so much.
“That son of a bitch…” she whispered helplessly, blinking back another round of tears.
