It had just gone six o’clock, and the clinic was reaching the point of emptiness. Cuddy was in her office, when she got a page. The look on her face was of horror, and despair. Quickly grabbing the phone, she called Wilson’s extension number, her words where disjointed, as she gasped for breath between each word.
“It’s House.” Wilson asked what had happened, since the sound of her voice seemed to infect him too with a sense of worry and alarm. “Get to the ER.” Cuddy slammed the phone down, before grabbing her white doctor’s coat, and making her way to the emergency room.
It wasn’t empty, but it wasn’t packed. Cuddy meandered her way through the hoards of sick standing people, and doctors and nurses, to the बिस्तर where House lay. Immediately she closed the curtain around the hospital bed, before checking his pupils, and his दिल rate.
House had been in a horrific motorcycle incident; he had collided with two cars and sustained injuries to his face and arms. Wilson shocked Cuddy when he entered through the curtain barrier. “Oh my God.” Wilson looked on, stunned, only until Cuddy asked for his help that he snapped out of it. “We need to get him in ICU. Fast.” Cuddy’s words were filled with agony, but she managed to control her emotions.

Wilson entered House’s outer-office, were his team were sitting, clueless as to what had happened.
“Where’s House?” Taub spoke in his usual tone, as Thirteen and Foreman looked at Wilson with confusion.
“House is in ICU.” Wilson handed out burgundy files to them each. “What happened?” Foreman had sat up from his laid back position, and became concerned for his boss.
“He was in an accident…he’s going to live, which is unfortunately not going to happen with your new patient; something is shutting down his brain, and rotting his lung.
“What about House? We can help.” Wilson shook his head at Thirteen’s question, “Just forget House for now. Foreman, you’re in charge of this patient.” Foreman nodded, whilst the others still had a look of confusion on their faces.
Wilson left, as Foreman begin his stint in charge; taking hold of the pen and लेखन the symptoms on the board.
Meanwhile…
Cuddy was looking at House’s chart, she had stayed at his side all night, monitoring his stats and wanting to be there in case he woke-up. A nurse joined her.
“Heart-rate is stable.” The nurse said, whilst she hooked up another bag of medicine to his IV.
Cuddy walked from the चोटी, शीर्ष of House’s bed, to his side, checking his pupils. “Pupil’s are responsive, and reactive.” The nurse left, the silence of the room gave Cuddy time to reflect.
Cuddy looked down at House, as he laid their unconscious. It startled her, when he grabbed her arm. Cuddy’s दिल skipped a beat, until she noticed that his eyes weren’t focusing on anything in the room.
“Who is that?” House’s voice was weak, and breaking. Cuddy got out her light, and checked his eyes once more; they were fine.
“It’s me.” Cuddy’s voice was tinged with a tone of relief. “Cuddy…I can’t see anything.” House closed his eyes; in an attempt to be able to see again the अगला time he opened them. “It’s okay, I’m here.” Cuddy took hold of his hand. “What happened?” House’s words where filled with bewilderment, he had blacked out and didn’t know what was going on.
“You were in an accident. It’s just me here, we’re in the ICU.” Cuddy dabbed a lone tear that dropped from his piercing blue eye. “I’ll get आप an MRI.” Cuddy stayed standing there, as she tried to stop a tear from falling from her face.
