Helambu trek is an ideal short trek near to Kathmandu Valley. Regardless of getting so close to Kathmandu, the Helambu region trends to be comparatively un-spoilt. In the evening, we will be organizing a welcome dinner introducing you with an outstanding authentic Nepalese food.
After having breakfast, you will be exploring some of the most ancient and divine attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these sites are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati Nath, Swayambhu Nath and Bouddha Nath. In the noon, there will be a pre-trip conversation where we can encounter our trek instructors and other team associates.
Day 3: Drive to Sundarijal & journey to Chisapani (2300m/7544 ft)
Today, we make one-hour drive towards Sundarijal (1350m), our trekking initial point. From Sundarijal, trek towards Chisopani. We start our journey together with a tiny hydroelectric plant. The path then passes via into the Shivapuri National Park. The initial defrayal we come over is Mulkharka generally settled through the Tamang people. Then we move through the edge over a woodland of oaks and rhododendron to Chisapani.
After breakfast, we proceed towards Kutumsang. Our today\'s journey begins with a fine passing fields and arenas. Adore the superb sights of the Langtang peaks. Hence, we reach at Pathi Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang. From Gul Bhanjyang, the path ascents the edge to another pass. Another easy trek from the pass makes the journey successful towards Kutumsang.
We ascent above Kutumsang on a sheer path frequently via fir and rhododendron woodland where there are no enduring defrayals. The trek remains to Yurin Danda with wonderful sights of the Himalayas. Lastly, we reach at Tharepati for the overnight stay.
Currently we move towards Tarkeghyang. Throughout initial part of the journey, the path descends till we pass the Melamchi Khola. Then we move up towards Tarkeghyang crossing via Sherpa settlements. Relish the Himalayan mountain earlier you are gleaming in the sunlight. Travel the community and its monastery which is one of the oldest and major monasteries in the area. The community is more commonly called Helambu, as most of the populations be owned by the Helmu caste.
As we do not gain height that much today, it is expected to become moderately relaxed hike today via woodlands, rivers, and waterfalls. The path makes a curve over the extensive gorge end amongst Parachin and the Sherpa community of Gangyul. From Gangyul, we reach at Sermathang. Explore the village.
Day 8: Trek to Malemchi Puul Bazaar: Drive to Kathmandu
On your last day of the journey, we move down towards Malemchi Pul Bazaar. The community is generally settled by the Sherpa, but there are also individuals of other backgrounds. From the Bazaar, we take a bus to Katmandu. Then, at Kathmandu you can take rest or go for shopping. In the evening, we will celebrate the successful completion of our journey with delicious dinner.
Today we will drop you at the airport and you will be flying back to your place.
