pumpkinqueen History wise, yes both UsUk and FrUk makes since. I know that, history is my favorite school lesson. But just by the show, FrUk is the only one that makes since and I pretty much only like to support a pairing by the moments in the show.

vampiressJazz the only reason why they would probably share this 'special' relationship is probably because of money/ weapons... which is the same with many other countries... What I don't get about usuk us that America wanted to break free from England so why go pairing him with the one he wanted to break free from.... A lot of these pairings( especially yaoi) are really confusing. I mean pairing Germany and England would make more sense.... Historically then usuk....Anyway I'm going off topic and making no sense

MCullenHightopp @vampiressJazz: About the whole Revolutionary War thing (because a lot of people don't understand USUK because of this); Just because America wanted to declare his independence doesn't mean he hates England. He didn't want to be inferior to him (or his "little brother", as America phrased it), and let's be honest, a country of America's size just makes no sense to stay under the control of little Britain. It could've been ANYONE and they would've done the same thing. America didn't do it just to get away from Britain, more to be his own country and not having to obey Britain's ORDERS anymore (who WOULDN'T want to get away from that?). It would've been the same with, for example, France (since this is a FrUK/USUK discussion, I used him as example). Heck, I think something like that even has happened. What I don't really understand is how FrUK fans can't understand how America stood up against Britain for "politics" sake, yet France has stood up against him numerous times and had many more wars with him and that apparently makes complete sense...? Anyway, sorry for the long reply, I just wanted to clear that Revolutionary War thing up. :)
