हेतालिया Article: Fandom, I don't understand!!

This is just a somewhat angry/small rant. Something I'm just getting completely sick of.

So, not even about five मिनटों (A bit longer as of writing/posting this) I logged into my Tumblr dashboard and literally the first thing I see is a post from one of my followers of a DISGUSTING fanart. Before आप say "That's what आप get for following a NSFW blog" Well, honestly, most of my followers don't usually post NSFW so I don't make such a HUGE deal if they post one picture since it's not plastered all over my dash all the time. Plus, I immediately retreat away from my dashboard if I see ANYTHING like that. What my followers blog is what they blog but, in all honestly I've had to resist posting nasty rants about it though, I respect their blogs so, what they blog is their business. Anyways, the reason I'm posting this is... I'm just so SICK of seeing crap like that. Is that all half this fandom cares about? Is who is depicted screwing who? I mean really? I really do understand that I cannot stop people from drawing these kinds of things but, what I just don't get is who in their right mind would want to see something like that? या even draw it!! हेतालिया is a wonderful anime. It's beautiful and amazing and gorgeous and unique and creative! So many WONDERFUL things. It disgusts me that some प्रशंसकों turn it into well, frankly a hentai. It's completely utterly just horrid. I come across this stuff accidentally almost all the time. Half the things I see are disgusting. I don't even want to begin with what I saw of Spain and Romano... -shudders- Anyways, all this quite frankly makes me want to puke up blood and set things on fire. I apologize for ranting but, I just can't take it anymore! Some प्रशंसकों are just treating हेतालिया like it's one giant eye-candy fanservice and turning it into a pornography. I already get annoyed द्वारा the perverted fangirls though, I'll just keep this one to myself as I don't want to unintentionally start using colorful language. Anyways, this is just one of many problems I have with this utterly dysfunctional fandom.

hetalianstella There's many perverts out there, but what I don't understand is.... [i][u][b]why are they all in the Hetalia fandom[/i][/b][/u]?! I don't understand what draws these kind of fans to Hetalia. What is the point of bringing all of this pervertedness to such an lighthearted fun show? There's [b][i]tons[/b] of other anime specifically designed for that purpose![/i] There's probably hundreds of other anime out there strictly dedicated to porn and hentai. When I see things like this, this is what confuses me the most. That with so many other animes that have actual hentai in them, fans like that are drawn to Hetalia...with absolutely no porn whatsoever. Why? What is the point? What is the point of ruining such a fun enjoyable wonderful show, when there's others that are actually relevant to such a subject. I just wish all of those fans could move on to those animes that actually fit what they are looking for and give us fans some peace of mind.~ Porn isn't my thing. If others like it that's there own interest that they have the right to. If it makes them happy then wonderful. But...[i]really?[/i] ..... I felt like ranting...Sorry :3

Cheshire_Pasta No need to be sorry~ -smiles- I completely agree with everything you ranted about, Stella-chan. I also really don't get why people have to bring such disgusting things to a show like this. It confuses me to heck and irks me. It's as you said, there's other things that are specifically made for these things. So, why bring it to a show where it doesn't belong? What also bothers me is that young children are seeing this stuff. I mean the Hetalia fandom consists of a lot of pre-teens and teens younger than 18. So, why bring this stuff to the eyes of teens so young? I just don't get that. It's just horrid to think that kids are seeing this garbage and even more so if they're the ones posting it.... I want to just curl up into a ball and cry in the corner. It breaks my heart. Kids of any age or anyone of any age for that matter, should NOT see this stuff. EVER. It's not only disgusting but, it's dangerous. Porn/hentai is something that seems to get thrown around in this fandom like it's nothing. Porn/hentai is addicting and dangerous. All it could take is one look and one person may end up wanting to see it more and more.

T045tToastToAsT Thank you so much for writing this article. I really don't like looking at gross fanarts either. Luckily, I have only come across a few ones, but there still are gross fanarts that I accidentally catch a glimpse of. I remember there was a REALLY horrible fanart that just made me want to puke. *shudders* I really don't want to describe it... I think that there should at least be an age filter or something for those fanarts. (Like in DevinatArt.) But then again, kids lie about their age online. And also, did you know that average age to be exposed to porn is eleven??? That's really sad. I wish people would stop posting porn online. They're dirtying a kid's mind.

nicolft Hn. Yeah. This must be the reason that many people view Hetalia as a "yaoi-fest". Of course, they're wrong because that's what the fandom's turned it into.....

SnowQueen17 I really do hate that there are people who only treat this fandom as "yaoi eye-candy". I admit only got into this fandom about three months ago, but I don't go around arguing who should with who or any other nonsense. I like Hetalia because of the humour not because of pornagraphic fanart or uber-pervy fangirls. And if I did offend I'm truly sorry.

EmoSasuSaku This is one of the reasons why I couldn't make myself watch it. The fandom made me think and [b]believe[/b] that Hetalia was a Yaoi anime. I'm glad I did watch it though :3 Everything is just one happy family. Ships? No! Lets have everyone be a FAMILY!!

hetalianstella ^ I feel the exact same way! :D All of the Hetalia characters are just like one huge family to me~! I can't think of any relationship as anything more than a brotherly, sisterly, type of thing. ^ ^ Though if other people ship I have no problem with it. =) As long as they don't take it overboard...

black_amaranth The reason for that, dear, is because most people are shallow lowlives who only care about porn and other disgusting things. The thing is that some people take said porn to a whole new disturbing level, enough that that I sometimes question whether such people have any motivation in life other than writing/reading/drawing porn. It's the main reason why I, despite being completely in love with Hetalia, never recommend it to anyone who isn't at sixteen. I don't even KNOW where all this disgusting stuff comes from, when as you said, the anime is about history and humor, NOT romance and pornography.

BubblesAndAce I totally agree! I hate seeing that kind of stuff, because I can never look at Hetalia the same again! I've stopped watching so many great shows because of this! I mean, i get shipping and all that. But I absolutley hate it when people draw those pictures, or write those Hetalia x read or just country x country lemons. It's disgusting. I do act a bit pervy sometimes, I admit. But I never say, draw or write anything like the stuff some of those sex-crazed people draw. Its Hetalia, not Hentai.

LilMissDoodle Oh my gosh, there's SANITY in this fandom! I agree completely! It's not romantic, they're just brotherly relationships! It's really there to poke fun at country stereotypes! It's not made for some sick person's porn fest! Thank you to everyone who GETS it! You guys are amazing!

I walked in Austria's courtyard, झाड़ू in hand. Italy would be coming घर soon from visiting his brother, Romano, at Spain's house. I thought that might as well start cleaning, so Italy and I could go out to the park.

Austria followed me out, back erect. He raised an eyebrow questioningly at the झाड़ू in my hand.

"Why do आप have a push broom? It is Italy's job after all!" he scoffed.

I frowned, "I just thought I could do Italy's chores so we could all have a relaxing दिन today."

He shook his head, "Don't be stupid! It is Italy's job to sweep, and yours to supervise. Do not confuse poor Italy...
