I think the storylines are so similar. Two friends who are in love with the same boy and the boy is with one of them but secretly loves the other one. The cheating happened in both shows, too. Besides, to me it seems like Dan/Marti already have this "meant-to-be" thing going on, just like Leyton on OTH. I even feel about the couples the same way, I don't like LP & DM, but I love BL & DS. IMO the characters even look kind of the same.

^ exactly! Except I adored LP and I love DM. I was never a fan of BL..and though DS is cute,I think DM is <3 Just like LP....DM=ENDGAME! Though I liked season one Savannah WAY MOOOOORE THAN I liked season one Brooke.

Kind of, but DM have a past where LP didn't have any kind of past relationship before the pilot. The characters do look similar, but I ship opposing couples. LP is my OTP, but I hate DM on Hellcats. I completely ship Dan with Savannah

Yes, I would love DM to be more like Laley, I think they would be amazing together, if they only had a really strong friendship.

Kinda. The triangle is between sort of LP and BL but Marti and Dan had a sort of Laley friendship who became couple but but the personalities of Dan and Marti are more like Lucas and Peyton.
I'm a Leyton fan but I can't stand DM, I love Savannah and Dan together!

I do think you're right. I look at Dan/Marti as more of Laley, where I just wanted them to be friends, nothing more.

I agree with @Dansea08, I don't really get the Brucas/Leyton vibe from Savannah/Dan and Marti/Dan, because I always got the Laley vibe from Marti/Dan which is probably why I adore them as friends, but don't think they are "meant to be" as others seem too. I do, however, LOVE Dan/Savannah. Of course I wasn't ever really a fan of Leyton on OTH; but still they give me a Laley vibe, which is a friendship I freaking LOVE btw, so that's a HUGE compliment!

yeaa im with Lolaa i do see similarities and i perfer DS and love BL over LP and DM haha but at the same time i also totally agree with TeeFly cuz i deffo get a major Laley vibe from DM and thats why i love their friendship too cuz i adored Laley. soo hopefully DM dont turn out to be like LP cuz ill end up HATING them haha. but right now im all for DS and impartial to DM. but yea i get the OTH similarities haha
