I stretched out quickly and grabbed my broom. I was trying out as a chaser. I flew around a bit then waited for everyone to get up. I looked around and saw Thom. I smiled and waved.

I swooped over and snatched a flying Quaffle out of the air. I lobbed it into a hoop and circled once before diving to shoot again.

I walked back discouraged. Everyone else was so good, and I had only been playing since 2nd year. Most of the other kids were wizard born, they had spent their whole childhood on a broomstick! There was no way I would get in.

"Alright gather around, all of you!" Wood shouted. The results were out. Twinks was anxious. She walked her way up to Wood and the rest of the team.
"Alright, seeker- Harry!
Beaters- Fred, George!
Chasers- Katie, Ilana Miller and Autumn Miller!
Keeper- (Twinks' heart pounded like crazy) Trinkle Charles!"

Twinks got so happy that she started to jump up and down. She said a faint "Thanks" to Wood and ran off to the stands to Hermione.

Thom fell asleep at the stands as the results were read out. His long blond hair blew rhythmically in the cool breeze and his Daily Profit laid on his lap, half open.
