Draco's dead hand?

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, chapter 7: Slug's club
Harry, Ron and Hermione were talking about Draco, how he went to Borgin and Burkes. They were wondering what it might have been that Draco needed repaired and Ron suggested the Hand from a different world या something like that. Now, he says Draco used to carry it around the castle. I don't remember that hand anywhere in the पूर्व books, except in the Chamber of Secrets when Harry saw it in Borgin and Burkes...

Yeah, but it still doesn't say when he first used it. It must have been in the पूर्व books, because Ron कहा he used to walk around with it. So that's what I dont get it. When was the first time Malfoy used it?

Ok thanks. But just one thing - why does Ron say something like:"Maybe he broke the Hand of Glory. Do आप remember that hand he used to carry around?" He says that in chapter 7 of the Half-blood prince, and you're talking about chapter 29 या something, when Ginny says : "He left the Room of Requirement about an घंटा after we started with our shift. He was carring that awful crinkled hand..." So he must have used that hand before for Ron to say that in chapter 7. Maybe JK messed something up, या maybe it does say somehwere in the पुस्तकें when he used it and I just can't find it. can आप follow me?

The qotes aren't totally right. I have the पुस्तकें in Croatian, so I had to translate it myself in English...
