What do आप think was the first thing Snape thought when he first saw Harry?

I think he probably simultaneously considered how much Harry's eyes resembled Lily, and subsequently how he loved Lily and द्वारा extension MUST protect her son. I think he also must have seen Harry's scar and been reminded of the horror he felt when he discovered that the prophecy he shared with Voldemort ended up harming Lily. And I think finally he must have thought about how much Harry looked like James generally, and been disgusted. Maybe he had some other thoughts too, like about what a child between he and Lily might have looked like. या maybe he wondered what personality Harry might have. Endless things.

I noticed in the फिल्में that Alan Rickman conveyed all this marvelously. I mean, every time Severus looks at Harry, in the movies, Severus seems to stop for a विभाजित करें, विभक्त करें second, before turning nasty to the boy, as if during that short moment, he could but see only Lily's eyes. Sometimes, I even suspect that he wanted to strangle the boy but at the last moment, he saw Lily's eyes and it stopped him. This is particularly obvious in OotP, during the last Occlumency lesson, when Severus was brutal with Harry.

That's why I appreciated, in Severus' death scene, that they made him say "You have your mother's eyes". As if for the very first time, Severus was able to see that and only that. As if he was past this hateful stage of seeing James in his son. Alan Rickman used a tone that conveyed all the regrets and remorse and guilt he had felt about Lily's death. For the very first time, he spoke to Harry gently, with almost a hint of joy and admiration for Lily's eyes, as if just before dying he had told Harry everything he had wished to tell Lily.

So much is कहा in so few words...

Maybe I've been extrapoling but that was what I felt - and still do - when I watched the scene. I went to see the movie twice in a week's time...

That Harry looked just like his father and he was probably annoying, but also his eyes just like Lily's.

I personally think that he felt a little angry. I mean judging द्वारा how much people tell him...Harry looks a lot like James. And आप could tell from the OOTP that James was pretty nasty to Snape so I think there was a certain level of hatred there from the first meeting that really stuck with him, but I think he could have secretly been thinking about how Harry has his mothers eyes, because he was always trying to protect him.

I think the very first thing that came to Snape's mind was the fact that Harry is basically James' mini me, and because of that he can't help but feel that instant hatred, not for Harry specifically, but due to his painful memories about James and the tragedy of his relationship with Lily. I think Snape's contempt for James disallowed Snape to see Harry for Harry, and the only things that ever really held Snape back from अभिनय as if Harry were James were (a) his eyes and (b) the promise that he would do all he could to protect Lily's son in her honor.

Probably he thought for a सेकंड that it was James, and remembered why he hated James so much. I might be misremembering this, but I think it कहा in the book that Snape was looking at Harry like he hated him, so that would explain it.

Thought of Lily, and how much he looked like his father...the scar probably reminded him of that terrible night when lily died...he probably saw the दिन coming when he would come to hogwartz....and resented the memories it would bring.

I think he thought of Lily,that's why he had Harry look him in the eyes before Snape died.

He thought"I must save the boy,and tell him the truth."that's why he gave Harry his memories.

probably memories of Lily some good and probably और sad like her death.. I personally think Harry looks और like his mother then his father and its possible he felt the same way...probably alot of "What If's?" went through his head...its really hard to tell he played his role as a spy very well...lol.

I think he immediately noticed his resemblance to James and immediately labeled him as an arrogant toerag then he probably noticed Lily's eyes and how he had screwed up their friendship and driven her right into his enemy's arms and was now forced to look at the product every day

I think he thought of Lily and saw her in Harry. I think Snape also realized that he had been kinda harsh towards Harry over his years at school because Snape always had issues with James. I think in the end, even though they didnt actually speak about it, Harry and Snape were able to make peace with eachother. Amazing scene!

Well since you'll prabably never know my guss was that he say the boy that the women he love's gave her life for.Than he started thinking of Lily And I think maybe!
