How long did the Twilight craze last in your school?For how long were people obsessed with Harry Potter?

I go to an all-girls high school, so when it hit, there was no escaping.

The craze kicked in about a week before Breaking Dawn was released, people got really obsessive when the movie came out, and in 2009 it was still pretty big for the first few months of the year. There was a bit of hype around the release of the New Moon film, but not a huge amount.

When Breaking Dawn came out, it was literally impossible to walk 10m without seeing someone holding a Twilight book. That's how obsessed our school was.

I was a प्रशंसक from September 2008, and then I gradually stopped liking the series once the movie stopped playing in cinemas and the hype died down a bit.

I think some of the साल 7's/8's are quite into it but that's because they've only just come into the middle school, and they were too young to read it when the real craze was.

well for a little wile आप could'nt turn around with out hearing the crap about twight - but ive been huge प्रशंसक of Harry potter since it started ive seen evey movie but the new one - but ill see it soon - but i dont hear all that twight crap any और it kinda died down - thank god !!

It never really hit our school, but the people who were obsessed still are. It's annoying.

There's some HP प्रशंसकों but I'm like, one of the real and only die-hard ones. Twilight only became really लोकप्रिय when the movie was in the making and half the girls haven't even finished the first book. At least the few HP प्रशंसकों in my school have read all the books. >.< I consider my school quite stupid.

I started a club at mine. So it lasted about 3 years...
No HP fans...

uhh since my school is 4 girls only twilight was famous ever since it was released and up to now it is still number 1

Well, we kinda moved on from HP AND Twilight. A lot of people like Twilight in a sort of guilty-pleasure way, but they prefer other vampire पुस्तकें like Vampire Academy and House of Night. HP is kinda loved द्वारा everyone, but the excitement died down. On an unrelated note, every 10th-grader in band at my school hates Twilight.

Well, believe it या not, Im not just saying this. But when I went to Highschool- I graduated in 2007, I heard nothing of this " Twilight". There were a bunch of Harry Potter fans, we had the पुस्तकें in the Library, we are a " Red" state, but not that conservative. WE even had a Harry Potter club in Highschool, I unfortunately heard about it at the last min, but still made it a couple times and was sorted into Ravenclaw. We had a Senior साल हैलोवीन Party, seniors only, and I went as Hermione Granger. That was of course the साल the last book came out, and Barnes and Noble and B.Dalton both had midnight parties and people were packing in at both dressed as characters. I went to B.Dalton. Barnes and Noble is always busy. Played Trivia, had Harry Potter cookies, got crossword puzzles. Then at 12:01 I got in line for Deathly Hallows. ( I skipped to the end) I couldnt wait-LOL, people were saying harry would die, Im like NOOOOO! then Snape and Bella die- Im like oh Shit!

In my school, every girl loves Twilight. I hate it <.<

At my school, no one had even heard of Twilight, and everyone had read Harry Potter. Maybe because I graduated in 2003 ;)

At my work we are HP obsessed though, and I work in an office ;)

I was a senior when Twilight stared to get popular, so I was never engulfed with and craze, nor have I witnessed it. That's probably why I'm not at all annoyed द्वारा it.

I was in 4th grade when Everyone started loving Harry Potter. All the teachers read the first book to their classes at the same time, so it hit pretty hard. We had Harrry Potter look-a-like contests and everything.
It was fun. I was engulfed in all the HP craze. It lasted for about five या six years, I guess.

There is a lot और Twilight fandom in my school than Harry Potter actually, even to this day. Once, I saw a Twilight book in a girl in my chorus class' hands, and she says she was rereading it!

Plus, a lot of people keep saying how much they प्यार Twilight. It gets worse: most say how HOT Edward या Jacob is! Others, like my one friend, just likes it because she thinks its a good book, and not because either is "hot"; because she's my friend, I respect her opinion. As for those other fans, great reasons... -_-

As for HP fans, they're pretty rare. I only know around five people aside from me as of now. It really sucks, because I can't really talk about my HP fandom pretty much, except here, of course!

We all got obsessed with twilight when the first movie came out. When it lift फिल्में though everyone kinda 4got. Harry Potter has been a craz everytime its come to the फिल्में :)
