What's the difference between ईमो and goth?

ईमो was originally a nickname for "emotive hardcore" (type of music), but has evolved into meaning "emotional" because it was misinterpreted, since प्रशंसकों of this संगीत were ususally known for being a bunch of depressed-self-harming-teens with too much free time. It's all stereotypical. But this is what it's known for now. An ईमो person (like I कहा stereotypical) would be very depressed, hate the world, including themselves and probabl cry all the time. They've even stereotyped and ईमो style. Usually "emo" kids dress in skinny jeans, dark रंग (but not all black), band tee shirts, and chucks. But, like I कहा about 5 या so times. IT'S ALL STEREOTYPICAL!!! And it did originally mean "emotive hardcore". (and if some one dresses like that it doesn't mean they're gonna go suicidal!)
The word "gothic" was originally used to descibe works of art that were "dark", which is the meaning, hence how it now descibes people we call "goth".
गॉथिक is now used as an adjective is ususally used to discribe people who wear all, या mostly black. They're usually gloomy. And people think that they do some sort of devil worship. They're sometimes depressed, but everyone can get depressed, so that doesn't really count.
गॉथिक style is (like I said) all या mostly black, heavy eyeliner, black या odd colored hair. This too can all be stereotypical. Like आप can dress "goth" and not worship the devil. आप can say you're goth and not worship the devil. There's a goth style संगीत too.

ईमो is someone who is depressed and suicidal.
goth is when आप dress in almost all black.

with the kids these days there is no such thing as an emo, there mostly douchebag greenday प्रेमी या just screamo fagats that consider themselves ईमो because they listen to screamo, and with goths there just douchebag posers that dress "gothic" and tells people "yeah im weird and gothic" it just pisses me off. well i just gave आप the विवरण of emos and goths in this generation.

I think goth is the look, & sort of how आप act, but not completely. ईमो is the look, & cutting yourself & stuff like that. Sorry to anyone if i have this wrong, just what i think. I dont think i have it right at all, actually, so no offense to anyone.

goth and ईमो are very diff and ईमो is not where आप cry all the time या cut या hate the world and your self. In fact ईमो is where आप dress how आप like even if no one else likes it, या आप listen to संगीत that no one has heard of and if it becomes listened to और we dont stop playing.most goth people wear the following रंग black, dark blue, dark purple, and green {any shade of green it dont matter} they worship satan and evil spirts even tho they are not bad themselfs most are mean in till आप get to know them. Emos where mostly black and आप dont want to get us mad it will end badly for who ever wants to fight us या mess with our friends. Im a ईमो 13 साल old in middle school and most ईमो and goth kids dont get along so be very careful on what आप call poeple. Theres also badasses they wear a lot of chains सोना black and silver. they wear a lot of leather and listen to hard rock most of the time. they cuss alot and arent afraid to fight anyone.
